Yes, many Samsung Galaxy phones can send the same audio to two Bluetooth speakers at once. The feature is called Dual audio on Samsung’s support pages. You pair both speakers with the phone, open the Media panel in Quick Settings, and select both outputs. Whether your phone offers this depends on its model and software version, so check the steps below against your own screen before you start.
What the feature does and does not do
Dual audio sends one media stream, such as a song, video or podcast, to two Bluetooth audio devices. Samsung’s U.S. support article “Play music on two Bluetooth devices from your Galaxy phone” describes this use, and its regional guides name two Bluetooth speakers as the example.
- Two devices, no more. Samsung states that connecting a third Bluetooth device disconnects one of the paired devices because of the two-device limit. Samsung’s wording is: “Connecting a third Bluetooth device will disconnect one of the paired devices due to the two-device limit.”
- The speakers must support Bluetooth Media audio. The Galaxy S9+ user manual states that Bluetooth devices used with Dual audio must support Media audio. A speaker that only handles calls will not appear as a media output.
- Feature availability varies. Samsung’s Saudi Arabia audio-settings guide (updated April 28, 2026) notes that available audio settings depend on the model. Its Germany guide on simultaneous playback (updated February 25, 2026) notes that menus differ by software version and region.
- Same content, not a stereo pair. Samsung’s material establishes simultaneous output to two devices. It does not establish that the phone assigns left and right channels to the two speakers, that playback stays perfectly in sync, or what the delay between speakers will be. If you want a true left/right pair, use a stereo-pairing feature from the speaker maker instead.
Setup steps
- Pair both speakers. Put each speaker into Bluetooth pairing mode using its own instructions. Samsung notes this usually means holding the power button until the LED flashes.
- Pair them with the phone. Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and pair each speaker. Both should show as connected.
- Open the Media panel. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings, then tap Media or Media output. The label varies by software version and region.
- Select both speakers. Tap the circle or checkmark beside each speaker so both are selected, then start or resume playback in your app.
- Adjust volume. If the panel shows a volume slider for each device, use it to balance the two speakers. Samsung’s U.S. guide says the Media panel allows individual volume adjustment, and the phone’s volume keys still work.
Older Android 9 / One UI 1 phones
Samsung’s U.S. instructions for older software use a different path: Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > More options > Advanced > Dual audio. If the phone asks, turn off Media volume sync. Use this path only if your phone runs that older interface, since the Media panel steps above are the current general method.

If the second speaker does not appear
- Check the connection. Both speakers must be paired and connected to the phone, not just paired once.
- Look for the Media control. Samsung India’s Dual audio guide (updated September 12, 2024) says the Media control can be hidden. Enable Show Devices and Media buttons in the Quick panel layout. The exact menu location can vary by phone.
- Confirm the speaker supports Media audio. A speaker that does not accept Bluetooth Media audio will not work as a second output.
- Check the phone model and software. If the audio feature is missing, Samsung’s support guidance points to a compatibility check of the model and software version rather than a setting you can force on.
- Restart and reconnect. Restart the phone, then reconnect both speakers. This is one of the troubleshooting steps in Samsung’s published guidance.

Practical expectations
Treat Dual audio as a way to fill a room with the same music from two speakers, not as a guaranteed stereo setup. Keep the speakers close enough that you can judge any delay by ear, and if the sound seems out of step, lower the volume on the device that is causing the lag or place it nearer the listener. For true left and right stereo, check whether your speaker maker offers a dedicated pairing mode and what models it supports, because Samsung’s support material does not cover that.

Searches often use the phrase “Stereo Wonderland” for this setup. Samsung’s own term for the feature is Dual audio, and that is the term to look for in your phone’s settings.
