The most reliable starting point for earning more in TCG Card Shop Simulator is to keep your strongest profitable product line in stock, price it close to market, and reinvest where your shop is constrained. Treat focused stocking and pricing advice as community-tested strategies, not guaranteed mechanics: OPNeon Games has not published an official margin table or a precise price-to-purchase formula.

Why money advice changed with version 1.0

The game’s 1.0 release arrived on 14 September 2026, according to the official Steam listing. OPNeon Games says the update expanded the items available to unlock and sell from 77 to 111, and the collectible card pool from 2,714 to 4,436. It also added features including card grading, improved workers, tournaments, more products and shop space, and playable Tetramon TCG. Those changes matter because older earnings examples and product strategies may not carry over to the current game.

The core loop remains selling products and managing a shop, with pack opening, card sales, customer demand, staff and expansion also in play. The Steam description explains that players can sell rare cards for profit or keep them to complete a collection; those goals can compete with each other.

Build your shop around the strongest line you can sustain

An unofficial guide updated 21 September 2026 recommends concentrating stock on the best profitable product line currently unlocked, keeping its shelf full, and storing weaker lines rather than spreading limited inventory thinly. Its reasoning is that customers choose shelves, so a more focused assortment may steer visits toward the higher-value line. That customer-choice explanation is the guide’s interpretation, not a developer-confirmed formula.

#1 Best Overall
CookieRun TCG: Starter Deck Purple - 60 Cards - 2 Player Competitive Game
  • The Purple Starter Deck is a disruption-focused deck that relies on psychological tactics and effects that send Cookies and Stages to the Trash.
  • Use trash-based effects to break your opponent’s rhythm and build your own unique path to victory.
  • Purple is the color of those who weaponize confusion.
  • Each starter pack contains 60 cards.
  • This product is for one player. Two players and two starter decks are required to play.

Use it as a strategy to test in your save, not a universal rule. A narrow assortment can make sense when a strong product is frequently available and replenished quickly. A broader range may be preferable if your chosen shelf runs empty, stock is slow to replace, or customers need other reasons to visit. Compare what happens to shelf availability, sales and restocking pressure before committing your whole shop to one line.

Set prices near market and watch what customers do

Community advice favors prices close to market: a noticeable markup may make customers less likely to buy, while rounded prices may make checkout smoother. The official Steam listing confirms that setting prices and responding to changing demand are part of managing the business, but it does not provide a specific formula for how a price changes purchase odds.

Rank #2
CookieRun TCG: Starter Deck Red - 2 Player Competitive Trading Card Game
  • The Red Starter Deck features cards that boost damage.
  • It’s packed with powerful cookie cards capable of dealing heavy damage to the opponent’s Battle Area.
  • Ideal for players who like to strike fast, hard, and without hesitation to dominate the game.
  • Each starter pack contains 60 cards.
  • This product is for one player. Two players and two starter decks are required to play.

Adjust prices in small increments and observe whether products continue to move. If a shelf is stocked but sales slow, try moving closer to market before assuming that the item itself is weak. Avoid treating a single price point as optimal for every product or save; demand and the available product mix can change as you unlock content.

Use card sales and pack opening selectively

Opening booster packs can yield collectible cards that you may sell, but it is not a guaranteed profit strategy. The cost of the packs, the cards you draw, and your decision to keep desirable cards for your collection all affect the outcome. The official listing explicitly presents selling rare pulls and keeping them as competing choices.

Rank #3
CookieRun Trading Card Game Starter Deck Green - 60 Card Competitive TCG
  • The Green Starter Deck excels at boosting resources and leveraging them for powerful plays.
  • Quickly expand your Support Area, then reduce it at key moments to block attacks or land finishing blows to overwhelm your opponent.
  • Mastering the Support Area is the key to dominating the game with the Green deck.
  • Each starter pack contains 60 cards.
  • This product is for one player. Two players and two starter decks are required to play.

Try card sales when you can compare the value of the cards sold with the packs used to obtain them, and decide in advance whether collection progress matters more than cash. Do not assume every opening will return more than its cost.

Add tables and events when the shop can support them

Hosted play is a possible later-game income route, but tables also take space and may divert customers from shelves. The unofficial guide cautions against adding tables too early for that reason; neither the guide nor the developer establishes a guaranteed event profit rate.

OPNeon Games says a Tetramon match takes about 3–5 minutes and can be started with a waiting customer at a play table while the shop continues to operate. The Workbench unlocks at shop level 7, according to the game’s update information. These details make play a concrete option to consider as the shop develops, but they do not show that it will out-earn selling products. Compare table capacity and customer demand with the shelf sales or space you give up.

Reinvest in the bottleneck, not every upgrade at once

The Steam listing points to expanding shop space, unlocking new sets and upgrading facilities as parts of progression, while also emphasizing changing demand. A practical way to choose what to buy next is to identify what is currently limiting sales:

Best Value
One Piece Card Game - Starter Deck 22: Ace & Newgate (ST-22)
  • Limited Stock: Only 6 Items Remaining
  • Pre-ordered, Shipment Imminent
  • Included Components: 1 Constructed Deck (51 cards), 10 DON!! Cards, 1 Playsheet, 1 Bonus Pack (3 cards)
  • Stock availability: prioritize keeping your strongest line replenished rather than expanding the assortment without enough inventory.
  • Checkout capacity: consider whether transactions are backing up before investing elsewhere.
  • Shop space: expand when a shortage of room is preventing useful shelves or facilities from fitting.
  • Demand or product choice: unlock or stock alternatives when the current line is not moving reliably.

This bottleneck approach is a decision aid based on the game’s shop-management loop, not an official upgrade formula.

How to interpret reported daily profits

The TCG Card Shop Simulator Wiki team’s 2026 guide reports a near-$25,000 daily-profit result from one creator strategy and $48,000 from another creator report. These are observations from particular playthroughs, not developer benchmarks or promised earnings. The same guide notes that Patch 1.0 added 1,452 cards, changing card values relative to earlier versions. Treat older or creator-specific totals as context only; your unlocks, stock, prices, demand and version can produce different results.
