You can still follow Samsung’s steps to link an existing U.S. Samsung Financing account to a Samsung Account, but linking does not restore the ability to make purchases with the financing account. TD Bank says the program ended for purchases and recurring subscriptions on December 31, 2024. To link, match the account email addresses, sign in with the Samsung Account used for the financing application, and verify your identity through Samsung’s official linking page.
Before you start: linking is not new financing
This guide applies to existing U.S. Samsung Financing accounts issued by TD Bank. The link connects the legacy financing account with a Samsung Account; it does not reactivate the financing program. TD Bank states that December 31, 2024 was the last day the account could be used for purchases or recurring subscription programs such as Samsung Care+. For statements and payments, use TD Bank’s account-management portal.
Samsung’s published instructions describe a linking flow, but they do not guarantee that it will complete successfully for every legacy account. If you encounter an account-specific error, use the troubleshooting steps below or contact the institution named for that issue.

- Access to the Samsung Account originally used when applying for Samsung Financing.
- The email address on that Samsung Account must match the email address on the TD Bank financing account.
- The financing account’s billing ZIP code, birthdate, and last four digits of the associated Social Security number.
Enter sensitive identity details only on Samsung’s official Link Your Account flow. Do not send them in email or comments, or enter them on an unofficial troubleshooting site.

How to link a Samsung Financing account
- Match the email addresses. Check the email on your Samsung Account and the email on the TD Bank financing account. If they differ, update the financing account email so it matches before continuing.
- Sign out of your Samsung Account. This prepares the sign-in step in Samsung’s linking flow.
- Open Samsung’s Link Your Account page. Select GET STARTED.
- Sign in with the original Samsung Account. Use the Samsung Account that was used when applying for financing. If Samsung says that account was not used for the application, try the original login. If you need the financing account associated with a different Samsung Account email, request help from Samsung.
- Verify your identity. When prompted, enter the billing ZIP code, last four Social Security digits, and birthdate associated with the TD Bank account, then select VERIFY.
- Check the result. A success screen indicates that the link is complete. If verification fails, re-enter the details once. If it still fails, contact TD Bank. If the page says the application needs completion, call TD Bank first, then return to Samsung’s page and select Link Your Account.
Troubleshoot the problem you see
The email addresses do not match
Update the email address on the TD Bank financing account to match the Samsung Account email, then restart the linking process.
Samsung says you used the wrong Samsung Account
Sign in with the Samsung Account used for the financing application. If you cannot use that account or want the financing account linked to a different Samsung Account email, contact Samsung and request help associating the accounts.

The financing account is already linked to an older Samsung Account
Contact Samsung for help moving the existing link. Starting over with another login may not resolve a link that is already associated with a different account.
The identity check fails
Check the billing ZIP code, birthdate, and last four Social Security digits against the TD Bank account details, then retry once. If verification still fails, contact TD Bank for account-specific assistance.

The page says the application is incomplete
Call TD Bank to complete the application, then return to the Link Your Account page and select Link Your Account.
You need to check a statement or pay a balance
Use TD Bank’s Samsung account page for online account management, including statements, payments, alerts, paperless statements, and recurring payments. Samsung also directs customers to TD Bank to manage these financing accounts.

Keep account access and purchase eligibility separate
Samsung’s older general financing description refers to purchases on Samsung.com or in the Shop Samsung App, but TD Bank’s later notice gives the relevant end date for this legacy program: the account could no longer be used for purchases or recurring subscriptions after December 31, 2024. Linking is for account association; use TD Bank’s portal to manage an outstanding balance.
