Build a learning sequence before your first flight
X-Plane’s desktop workflow starts with choosing an aircraft, location, weather and time, then using the cockpit instruments, views and map during the flight. 2. Explore the cockpit in manageable groups
Use the listing’s feature set to understand why the cockpit requires deliberate familiarization: the aircraft advertises custom fuel, electrical, pneumatic, pressurization and flight-control-related systems. 4. Add a walkthrough only as a supplement
A third-party Q8Pilot listing describes a tutorial flight covering the process from cold and dark through flight phases, including the built-in INS. It is dated May 4, 2024. Use a video like this to see a cockpit workflow, not as a replacement for current Felis documentation or a guarantee that its procedures match your installed version. Navigation and the CIVA INS
The CIVA INS is a distinct part of the advertised navigation workflow, with three CDU units and described DME-update options. Use the aircraft manual to learn its setup and update procedure. Do not treat the presence of an INS helper or a video demonstration as confirmation that a particular route-entry or alignment sequence is correct for every version.
Autopilot and autothrottle
The store advertises a custom autopilot with autoland and a separate autothrottle with EPR limiting. These are product features, not evidence that the aircraft can manage a flight without pilot input or that any mode engages in a particular way.
