- Check for the specified update. The 91mobiles guide calls for OxygenOS 16 with the August security patch. Update availability can vary by model, country, and carrier.
- Open Google Phone. Use its dial pad to enter
*#*#677776#*#*. - Accept the restart prompt if it appears. The prompt should offer to restart the phone to install OnePlus Phone. If it does not appear, stop; the available sources do not establish a universal workaround.
- After restarting, look for OnePlus Phone and Contacts. They may appear on the home screen or in the app drawer.
- Open OnePlus Phone. Follow its prompt to set it as the default calling app if you want to use it for calls.
