Logitech no longer supports or maintains Unifying Software. That changes the correct Windows 11 installation method: there is no current Logitech-published Unifying Software installer to download. Logitech’s replacement is Logi Options+, where supported keyboards and mice can be configured and paired.
If you already have an old Unifying installer, it may still launch on some Windows 11 systems, but it is legacy software. Logitech does not publish a current Windows 11 version, release date, or supported command syntax for it.
What to install on Windows 11
Use Logi Options+ rather than searching Logitech’s site for a current Unifying Software download. Logitech’s current support page lists Options+ for Windows 10 and Windows 11 and identifies it as the recommended software for supported devices.
Recommended Free Tools
At the time of writing, Logitech lists Logi Options+ version 2.0.840907, updated March 5, 2026. The Windows download is listed as 44.6 MB and uses the Download Now button. Versions and file sizes can change, so use Logitech’s support page rather than an old download article or an unofficial mirror.

- TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT: This is not a standard plug-and-play receiver. It strictly requires -downloading the official Logitech Unifying Software to sync and pair with your compatible keyboard or mouse
How to download Logi Options+ for Windows 11
- Open Logitech Support and go to the product’s Downloads section.
- Select Windows.
- Under Select Operating System to show Downloads, choose Windows 11.
- Click Download Now. If the page contains several releases, use Show All Downloads and select the current Windows 11 listing.
- When the download finishes, open the installer from your browser’s download list or the Windows
Downloadsfolder. - Approve the Windows User Account Control prompt, then follow the Logi Options+ setup screens.
Logitech says downloads are not shown for operating systems that are not listed. Therefore, a page message such as There are no Downloads for this Product, There are no Downloads for this Version, or There are no Downloads for Operating Systems not listed is a state of the support page—not a Windows 11 command error.
Pair a supported Logitech device with Options+
- Plug the Logitech receiver into a USB port. If your computer has only USB-C ports, use a compatible USB-C adapter or dock.
- Turn on the keyboard or mouse and make sure its battery is charged.
- Open Logi Options+ from the Start menu.
- Choose the option to add or connect a device, then follow the pairing instructions shown for your model.
- If the device has a connection button or numbered Easy-Switch channel, select the channel indicated by the on-screen instructions and put the device into pairing mode.
- Complete the test or confirmation step in Options+.
The exact controls depend on the device. Some Logitech products use a Unifying receiver, while newer products may use Bluetooth or Logitech’s Bolt receiver. A Unifying receiver and a Bolt receiver are different technologies; installing Options+ cannot make a Bolt-only device work with a Unifying receiver.
What if you specifically need the old Unifying Software?
There is no current official Logitech Windows 11 download identified as Unifying Software. Logitech’s support notice explicitly says that Unifying Software is no longer supported or maintained. The same notice also identifies SetPoint and Logitech Connection Utility as no longer supported or maintained, so neither is a current replacement.

If you already possess an old installer from a legitimate previous installation, you can try it at your own risk:
- Scan the installer with Windows Security before opening it.
- Disconnect unnecessary Logitech receivers and leave the target Unifying receiver connected.
- Run the installer normally. If Windows blocks it, do not bypass security protections merely to install unsupported software.
- After installation, open the old Unifying application from the Start menu.
- Use its pairing wizard, normally by selecting Next, switching the keyboard or mouse off and on when prompted, and completing the on-screen test.
These steps describe the historical workflow, not a currently supported Logitech procedure. The old application may fail to install, fail to detect the receiver, or pair a device without providing reliable future support. Do not download a supposedly “latest” Unifying package from an unknown third-party site.
Troubleshooting pairing on Windows 11
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Options+ does not see the receiver | Try a different USB port, remove a USB hub temporarily, and reconnect the receiver after restarting Options+. If possible, test the receiver directly on the PC rather than through a dock. |
| The device is not detected | Turn the device off and on, charge or replace its batteries, and press its connection or Easy-Switch button before retrying. |
| A Bolt device will not pair with a Unifying receiver | Check the receiver logo and device documentation. Bolt and Unifying receivers are not interchangeable. |
| The support page shows no download | Confirm that Windows and then Windows 11 are selected. The “no downloads” messages refer to the selected product, version, or operating-system filter. |
| Options+ will not install | Use a Windows account with permission to install software, close another Logitech installer, restart Windows, and download a fresh installer from Logitech Support. |
| The old Unifying program opens but cannot pair | Stop troubleshooting the unsupported application first. Check whether the device is supported by Options+, then use Options+ or the device’s Bluetooth pairing method instead. |
Windows compatibility
Logitech states that the latest Logi Options+ requires Windows version 1903 or later. Windows 11 is above that minimum. Logitech also notes that Windows version 1809 or earlier requires Options+ version 1.44, a condition that does not apply to a normally updated Windows 11 installation.

Bottom line
You cannot install a current, Logitech-supported version of Unifying Software on Windows 11 because Logitech no longer maintains it. For a supported Logitech keyboard or mouse, download Logi Options+ from Logitech Support, select Windows 11, click Download Now, and pair the device from the application. Treat any old Unifying installer as legacy software, and avoid unofficial downloads.

Why does Logitech say there are no downloads?
That message usually reflects the selected product, version, or operating-system filter on the support page. Select Downloads, Windows, and Windows 11. Logitech does not display downloads for operating systems that are not listed.
Is an old Unifying installer safe to use?
It is unsupported and may not work reliably on Windows 11. If you use one you already have, obtain it from a legitimate source, scan it with Windows Security, and do not bypass Windows security controls. Do not rely on unofficial download sites.

Use Logi Options+, not Unifying Software, on Windows 11. Logitech has retired and stopped maintaining the Unifying utility. Download the current Options+ Windows listing through Logitech Support, select Windows 11, and pair the device from the app. Legacy Unifying installers may still exist, but they are not a current supported solution.
