Umbral Aniimo and Prismana forms are pursued through Nurture Bloom, but they run on two separate systems. A nurtured Wild Surge can produce an Umbral Aniimo as a chance encounter. Prismana progress, by contrast, is built from area Prismatic Energy and tracked as Prismana Flow. Pawprint Studio confirmed both systems in its developer letter of September 3, 2026, and the official Aniimo probability page lists the figures that govern them. The fastest repeatable approach is to run the nurture loop in one area, catch rather than defeat the surge Aniimo, and use Tumblers on Wild Surge targets where you can.
Step-by-step: running the Nurture Bloom loop
- Confirm nurture access in the target area. A third-party guide says access requires that area’s Bronze Collection Badge, earned at 40% of the area’s local Aniimo collection. The developer letter does not state this threshold or its menu path, so check the badge requirement in your own game before planning around it.
- Start the nurture from the map. The same guide describes starting the nurture from the map, then selecting the marked Bloom’s option to attract Aniimo. It reports a three-minute Wild Surge window that ends early once every Aniimo has been caught. Menu labels and timing are patch-sensitive, so confirm them on the current build.
- Catch the surge Aniimo instead of defeating them. According to the third-party guide, caught Aniimo release Prismatic Energy when you return to the Bloom. Repeating the loop builds that area’s energy toward Prismana Flow. No fixed number of rounds is guaranteed, because species, bonuses, and game changes all affect progress.
- Use a Tumbler on Wild Surge targets if you have one. The official probability page lists a ×6 multiplier for Tumblers used against Wild Surge targets. This is the clearest efficiency gain the official sources document for surge captures.
- Keep Umbral hunting and Prismana progress separate. An Umbral appearance is a chance encounter inside a nurtured surge, and Pawprint Studio says Umbral also appear by chance in the open world. Prismana Flow is the energy track that the loop fills. Neither result is guaranteed by the other.

Two developer changes also affect how you plan a session. First, Pawprint Studio says the Prismana nurture trigger chance is flat, not reduced when your Prismatic Energy is low, and that the guarantee system remains in place. Second, the studio states that offering quality no longer affects Wild Surge quality, so older advice that a better offering improves surge quality no longer applies. A Lucky Strike can also grant items, raise area energy, and may directly trigger Prismana Flow.
Nurture cost is the last variable. A current third-party guide reports three free nurtures that refill over time, after which each nurture costs Vein Essence. Charge counts and refill timing are secondary-source details and may change with patches.

Getting an Umbral Aniimo
Pawprint Studio’s developer letter states that Wild Surges triggered through ecosystem nurturing “now offer a chance to encounter Umbral Aniimo, who have Perfect Potential and distinctive coloration.” The same letter says Umbral also appear by chance in the open world. The wording supports no guarantee that every surge contains an Umbral, or that a Prismana will be Umbral.
Appearance is the one point where a third-party guide adds a detail the developer does not state. That guide reports that an Umbral’s dark sheen disappears when the Aniimo evolves, while its Perfect Potential remains. If the visual form matters to you, consider keeping that specimen unevolved. This is a secondary-source report and should be checked in the live game before you rely on it.

- Official sources are strongest on probabilities, the pity threshold, the Tumbler multiplier, and the developer’s offering and Lucky Strike changes.
- The Bronze Collection Badge threshold, the three-minute window, the Bloom menu flow, and the free-nurture count come from a third-party guide and may not match the current build.
- The Umbral sheen loss on evolution is reported by a third-party guide only.
- Pawprint Studio’s wording is the source for the existence of Umbral encounters. Its probability is not published as a figure in the material reviewed.
Because these systems change between patches, check the patch notes and the in-game menus before you commit to a long farming session.
