During Fortnite’s Fortnitemares 2026 content, search Pumpkin Chests and enter Cheat Codes to look for the Vampire Sprite. Fortnitemares bosses are another possible route, but they can draw a fight. If you want its Bounty Hunter Vampire variant, equip a Bounty Sprite before pursuing elimination-based drops. No named location guarantees a spawn.
Where to find the Vampire Sprite
Epic says Sprites can be found and equipped during a match to grant a special Sprite Power. The Vampire Sprite was added in the October 1, 2026 Fortnitemares update, according to GAMES.GG and Beebom. The main reported acquisition routes are Pumpkin Chests and Cheat Codes.

Pumpkin Chests
Search Pumpkin Chests around the Chapter 7 Season 4 map. They are a repeatable option, but opening one does not guarantee the Vampire Sprite. GAMES.GG and Beebom report a 1.773% base drop chance; Epic has not published that figure, so treat it as a secondary-source estimate that may change with a patch.

Cheat Codes
Enter Cheat Codes found around POIs. Current guides identify these as another main route, but do not establish a single code that reliably grants the Vampire Sprite. Try codes as you encounter them rather than relying on an unverified code.

Fortnitemares bosses
Fortnitemares bosses, including the FNAF animatronics at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, may offer better odds, according to current guides. This is a higher-risk approach because boss areas are contested; the guides do not establish a guaranteed drop.
Suggested places to start
Golden Grove, Chopped Shop, and Sunken Shores are suggested starting POIs for focused runs. These are guide recommendations, not confirmed Vampire Sprite spawn points. Search chests and look for Cheat Codes, then rotate out if the area is busy.

Which route should you try?
| Route | Availability | Risk and caveat |
|---|---|---|
| Pumpkin Chests | Repeatable during the relevant Fortnitemares content | Reported drop chance is an unofficial estimate; no chest guarantees the Sprite. |
| Cheat Codes | Repeatable; codes cluster around POIs | No verified single code is established as a guaranteed Vampire Sprite reward. |
| Fortnitemares bosses | Situational | Potentially better odds, but boss areas can be contested and drops are not guaranteed. |
| Bounty Hunter Vampire variant | Requires a Bounty Sprite equipped before pursuing elimination-based drops | Variant availability may change; confirm the condition in the current season. |
How the Vampire Sprite works
The Vampire Sprite restores health as you damage enemies. Guides describe its siphon effect as working against NPCs as well as players, and say it improves as the Sprite levels. Exact level values are not settled: GAMES.GG reports 50% siphon at level 5, while Beebom gives a different set of health values. Neither guide is an official Epic source, so there is no dependable level-by-level curve to quote here.

How to level it faster
Epic says Sprites level through exploring, getting eliminations, and surviving the Storm. Secondary guides also list Cheat Codes and general match activity as sources of progression. For faster progression, focus runs on completing matches while collecting codes, exploring, and taking achievable fights rather than abandoning a run after one unsuccessful chest search.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

Use Mastery Monday when available
Epic’s Sprite schedule says Mastery Mondays make Legendary and Mythic Sprites appear more often, double leveling speed, and award 2x Sprite Dust from extractions. This is the clearest documented window for accelerating Sprite progression.
Other scheduled windows
Epic also lists Thursday variant refreshes and Saturday Power Hours at 3:30 PM and 9:30 PM ET. Check the schedule in case the current rotation or event timing has changed.

Mode and timing limitations
Epic’s Fortnite support guidance says Sprites are unavailable in competitive modes. Acquisition and variant availability are tied to Fortnite’s live content and can change with updates, so these routes apply to the Fortnitemares 2026 information described above rather than serving as a permanent spawn guide.
