Peeky Peely is not a confirmed acquisition in Fortnite Battle Royale’s Chapter 7 Season 4. Its known ways to obtain it—Sprite Chests, buried chests found with Sprite Locators, taking it from another player, or trading—belonged to Chapter 7 Season 3. If you found one then, it had to be extracted to register in your collection.
Can you get Peeky Peely in Fortnite now?
As of October 4, 2026, the reviewed Season 4 guides do not confirm that Peeky Peely is available to find in Battle Royale. Season 4 introduced a new Sprite generation for Battle Royale, while older Sprites remain in Sprite Garden and Sprite Collection. A report dated October 2 said older Sprites had not been added to the Season 4 island. That means a retained collection entry is not proof that you can currently find or use Peeky Peely in a Battle Royale match. Beebom’s Season 4 report covers the change.
No reviewed source gives a return date or confirms that Peeky Peely has returned to the active pool. Treat the methods below as historical Season 3 instructions, not current Season 4 guidance.

How players obtained Peeky Peely in Chapter 7 Season 3
During Chapter 7 Season 3: Runners, players could look for Peeky Peely through several routes:

- Search Sprite Chests. This was the straightforward method. A fan tracker, Sprite Checklist, reported a 4.62% chance per Sprite Chest, verified for v42.00 and updated August 21, 2026. That is tracker data, not an Epic-published drop rate, and it should not be treated as a current Season 4 rate. Sprite Checklist
- Use a Sprite Locator. During Season 3, a Locator could help find buried Sprite Chests. Beebom’s launch-era guide recommended Golden Grove and Calamari Canyon, but those location tips are not current map advice. Beebom’s Season 3 guide
- Take one from an opponent. If another player was carrying Peeky Peely, you could take it from them.
- Trade with another player. Trading was another reported Season 3 route.
Once you found the Sprite, you still had to extract it. Reach an Extraction Site or use a Portable Extractor; otherwise, the find would not be added to your collection.
Past Peeky Peely Hours
Epic’s Fortnite v41.30 notes announced limited Peeky Peely Hours from July 30 through August 5, 2026, when Peeky Peely and its variants appeared more often. Those event dates have passed. The notes are reproduced in a post attributed to the BR Dev Team. Fortnite v41.30 Battle Royale update notes

What Peeky Peely does
The BR Dev Team’s v41.30 notes describe its ability: “Peeky Peely Sprite: Marks nearby rare Sprite variants or enemies carrying them. Be ready though, it reveals your location too!” In other words, it can help you locate rare variants or players carrying them, but using it also exposes your position.

If you already collected Peeky Peely
Older Sprites are preserved in Sprite Garden and Sprite Collection, according to the Season 4 reports. That preserves the collection record; it does not establish that Peeky Peely can be summoned into, or acquired during, current Battle Royale matches. Sprite Checklist reported a 4,500 Sprite Dust summon cost for a previously collected Peeky Peely, verified for v42.00 and updated August 21, 2026. This is fan-tracker, version-specific information—not a confirmed Season 4 price or evidence of Battle Royale availability.

There is no confirmed current Season 4 route to recommend. The chest, Locator, opponent, and trade methods describe Season 3; the reviewed sources do not establish that any of them works for Peeky Peely on the current Battle Royale island. Check current in-game Sprite options and official Fortnite update notes for confirmation before spending time pursuing an old route.
