To be considered for Pokémon Center Invite Only, subscribe to the Pokémon Center newsletter using the email address where you want invitations sent. Subscription does not guarantee selection: Pokémon Center chooses selected subscribers using criteria it does not disclose. If you receive an invitation, use its personal link, sign in or register with the same email, and check out before the link expires and while stock remains.
How to get considered for an invitation
- Subscribe to the Pokémon Center newsletter with the email address you want to use for an invitation. Pokémon Center says selected newsletter subscribers in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom may be invited. Its Invite Only FAQ, updated October 6, 2026, does not disclose the selection criteria.
- Watch that email inbox for an invitation. Pokémon Center says not all subscribers qualify, and meeting its criteria does not guarantee selection. It does not publish selection odds or a rate.
Do not subscribe multiple times or use multiple email addresses in an attempt to improve your chances. Pokémon Center says that will not increase the likelihood of selection and may result in an invitation being voided. It also says receiving one invitation does not guarantee future invitations.
What to do if an invitation arrives
- Open the invitation email and check its expiration date. The email contains a unique link for the selected customer.
- Use one device and one browser to open the link, shop, and check out. Pokémon Center recommends this because switching devices or browsers may affect checkout.
- Sign in to Pokémon Center with the email address that received the invitation. If you do not have an account, register using that same address.
- If you want the item, complete checkout before the invitation expires and while supplies last.
The link is personal, can be used once, and is not transferable. Pokémon Center may disable it if it suspects misuse or a policy violation. An invitation is an opportunity to purchase, not a reservation: stock can run out before the deadline.
Invite Only and the virtual queue are different

If you encounter a queue, do not refresh, open multiple tabs, use alternate links, or try workarounds. Pokémon Center’s Virtual Queue guidance, updated October 15, 2025, says to leave the window open and wait; attempts to bypass the queue will not help and may cause errors. Being in a queue alone does not mean a Pokémon TCG product has launched or remains in stock.

If you are not invited or the product sells out
Check the official product page and participating retailers for later availability. Pokémon Support says it is working to print more and reprint impacted TCG products, with reprints expected at participating retailers. Its product availability update, dated May 26, 2026, does not promise that a particular product will return or give a date for one. Buying from another retailer does not create or improve Pokémon Center Invite Only access.

Pokémon Center describes the program as follows: “The Pokémon Center Invite Only program (formerly known as Early Access) allows selected customers the opportunity to purchase popular items before they are more widely released.” The program may apply to any item, including preorder items; that does not mean every TCG release uses it or that an invitation guarantees a purchase.
