Claim idle rewards regularly
A BlueStacks beginner guide lists shards alongside account experience, Hero EXP, equipment, and diamonds among idle rewards: BlueStacks’ Gods & Demons beginner guide. Claim accumulated rewards regularly rather than letting the collection window sit unused. Advance through story stages

Complete daily and event activities
Pocket Gamer recommends daily and weekly quests and events as sources of rewards, including summon-related currencies. Event schedules and prizes rotate, so inspect the live event page and reward descriptions rather than assuming a particular event or shard reward is currently available.
Check summons and shop offers
Summons and shop offers may provide heroes, shards, contracts, or other progression rewards, but available offers and their terms can change. Treat older advice about event summons, guarantees, or saving premium currency as a planning principle—not a current price list. Before spending, compare the displayed hero or shard yield, currency cost, whether the reward is guaranteed or random, and any purchase limit.
Shards, EXP, and ascension materials do different jobs
Do not treat every development resource as a shard. The guides distinguish hero shards or duplicate heroes, which relate to obtaining heroes or advancing their star rank, from Hero EXP, which is used for leveling. Ascension also requires materials, according to the guides.

Level with Hero EXP
Use Hero EXP and any other resources shown in the Hero screen to increase a hero’s level. Pocket Gamer’s beginner guide describes leveling as a separate system from ascension; gaining levels does not itself provide duplicate heroes or shards.
Ascend with duplicates and materials
The Pocket Gamer guide describes ascension as consuming material heroes and other materials to raise a hero’s star rank. It reports that the main hero retains its state and that development resources are returned after ascension. Those details come from a third-party guide, not a current official mechanics reference, so check the confirmation screen in your client before committing heroes or materials.
Use rebirth only after checking the refund
The same guide describes rebirth as resetting a hero to level one and refunding invested resources, which can let you redirect development. Confirm the option, eligible resources, and refund details in the game before relying on it; the guide does not establish that the current client follows identical rules.

A Pocket Gamer tier-list update dated October 5, 2026 reports that the game had been removed from the App Store and Google Play Store and that its list would no longer be updated: Pocket Gamer’s Gods & Demons tier list.
