To get more character upgrade materials in FAIRY TAIL Wizard Chronicle, claim daily and idle rewards, complete missions and achievements, progress through the main story, and clear unlocked Trials. To see what a particular upgrade needs, open Formations, select the character, then choose Training. Check the game’s current reward display for the exact source of any material: available guides do not establish a complete drop table or a single best farming stage.

Where to collect upgrade resources

The available guides describe several broad ways to earn resources, but they do not confirm which specific mode drops every training item. Use these routes to collect general rewards, then verify the source for the material you need in the game client.

Claim daily and idle rewards

Complete daily missions and claim idle rewards when they are available. LDPlayer’s beginner guide also recommends clearing battles and completing achievements as part of routine progression. These are repeatable reward-collection habits, but the guide does not specify daily limits or exact material quantities.

Progress through the main story

Advance the main story as far as your team can manage. LDPlayer says story quests can unlock features and provide resources, while Pocket Gamer describes quests and offline rewards as part of the game’s progression loop. Claim rewards after progressing; exact idle caps and stage-by-stage resource multipliers are not established in those guides.

Clear unlocked Trials

Trials are boss challenges that unlock at rank thresholds. According to iFanzine’s Trials guide, clearing them awards rewards. Check the reward display for the current Trial before spending time on it: the guide does not reliably map named training materials to particular Trials.

Find the material a character needs

  1. Open Formations.
  2. Select the character you want to improve.
  3. Choose Training to view the available upgrade and its requirements.
  4. Inspect the game’s displayed source or reward information for the missing item, then choose a route that currently offers it.

The menu sequence comes from iFanzine’s guide. The available sources do not establish exact names for every training material, so use the labels and source information shown in your current game client rather than relying on an assumed drop location.

Choose what to upgrade first

Training materials are described as scarce in LDPlayer’s beginner guide. Its advice is to favor higher-rarity characters, but that is third-party resource-management guidance—not an official requirement or a universal ranking. A practical approach is to check each upgrade’s cost and prioritize the small group of characters you actually use most, rather than spreading scarce items across your whole roster.

What is—and is not—known about farming

The guides support daily rewards, achievements, story progression, offline rewards and Trial clears as general resource routes. They do not establish a complete material-by-mode drop table, Trial-specific drops for every item, daily entry limits, idle caps or the most efficient farming stage. As game details can change, treat the client’s current reward display as the authority for a specific material.
