In Slayers 2, Demon Horns are reported drops from demon enemies. The most detailed community guides point to the cave beneath the waterfall near Mother Bear as a practical farm: Hoyuzo Subordinates gather along the approach, and Hoyuzo waits at the end. Guides report about a 50% chance for ordinary demon drops and three horns from Hoyuzo on a successful drop, but these are not officially confirmed rates.
Where to farm Demon Horns
Head for the cave below the waterfall near Mother Bear. It concentrates several demon enemies in one route, including Hoyuzo Subordinates and the boss Hoyuzo. A guide describes the enemies as level 40, so this is a mid-game destination rather than a safe early-game grind.
Route from Windy Peak
- Start at the Windy Peak shrine and travel east toward Mother Bear.
- Pass Mother Bear and the bears, then follow the stream toward the waterfall.
- Look for Wagwan beside the waterfall. Continue past him into the misty basin and cave, where Hoyuzo Subordinates are grouped.
- Follow the cave route to its end to reach Hoyuzo.
The community route descriptions do not give a precise map coordinate. The enemies use Blood Demon Arts, and the boss adds another combat challenge, so arrive prepared if your character is under levelled.
Which enemies drop Demon Horns?
Community guides report Demon Horns from demon enemies. Slayers 2 Wiki Editors’ guide, updated September 20, 2026, says its roughly 50% estimate comes from launch-week runs. A separate Slayers 2 Guide Wiki transcription lists six demon sources at 50% each; these figures are guide reports, not a current official drop table.

Those rates should not be read as a guarantee: an ordinary demon may drop none, and Hoyuzo’s reported three horns apply only when the drop succeeds. The guides do not establish controlled farming rates or kills per hour, so the waterfall cave is a dense recommended route, not a proven fastest farm.
What about other farming spots?
Another wiki page names Abubu Cave and the woods east of Kiribating Village as alternatives, but the detailed route information is less consistent for those locations. Treat them as lower-confidence options rather than established better farms. The same page’s claim that Tony accepts 250 horns for Claws is likewise not corroborated by the more detailed guides cited above.

Can you farm horns while completing a quest?
Wagwan, by the waterfall, is reported to offer the level 40 quest “Clear Hoyuzo’s Guard”: defeat four guards for 720 experience and 324 Wen. The Hoyuzo Subordinates along the route are the relevant guard enemies, so you can work toward the quest while collecting their reported horn drops. These quest details come from a community guide and may vary by game build.
What are Demon Horns used for?
Community guides describe Demon Horns as progression materials requested by breathing trainers. One guide lists these examples: Saneri (Wind), 50 horns; Urokodaki (Water), 30; Obari (Serpent), 20; and Shinora (Insect), 15. This is not an exhaustive or officially verified price list, and that guide notes some trainers may offer an alternate route that costs no horns. Check the trainer’s current in-game requirements before farming a specific amount.

Demon Horns are not reported as the material for Sound breathing; the materials guide says Sound uses Beast Cores instead.

No official developer drop table or patch note confirming these figures was identified in the cited guides. The percentages and quest and trainer details are community-guide reports, and game updates can change them. For a reliable decision in your current build, check the enemy drops and trainer dialogue in-game rather than treating a wiki percentage or cost as guaranteed.
