For most everyday shots, start with the OPPO F35 Pro 5G’s 50MP rear main camera. Switch to the 8MP ultra-wide when you need more of a scene in the frame, try Portrait mode for people, and use Night mode for dim, stationary subjects. The tips below apply to the F35 Pro 5G (model CPH2829); OPPO lists different rear-camera specifications for the separately named F35 5G.
Which camera should I use on the OPPO F35 Pro?
The F35 Pro 5G has three cameras for different framing needs. OPPO lists the rear main camera at 50MP with an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, and two-axis optical image stabilization (OIS). The rear ultra-wide is 8MP with a 116° field of view, while the 50MP front camera has a 100° field of view. Those specifications describe the hardware, not a guarantee that a particular mode will produce a sharper or better-looking photo. See OPPO’s F35 Pro 5G specifications.

How can I improve everyday photos?
Use the rear main camera as your default. Its autofocus and OIS are documented features, but OIS helps address movement of the phone; it cannot guarantee a sharp result when a person, pet, or other subject is moving.
- Frame the subject, then tap it to focus if that control is available in your camera interface.
- Hold the phone securely and check the edges of the frame for distracting objects before taking the photo.
- When practical and safe, move closer rather than relying on heavy digital zoom or cropping. The available specifications do not establish a still-photo zoom threshold at which image quality changes.
When should I switch to the ultra-wide camera?
Choose the rear ultra-wide when you cannot step back far enough or when the surroundings are an important part of the picture. Its listed 116° field of view is wider than the main camera’s 79°, so it can include more of a group or building in one shot.

A wide view can make objects and people near the edges look stretched. Place faces nearer the center, and level the phone when straight building lines matter. For a group selfie, try the front camera’s 100° view and check the frame before shooting.
How do I take better portraits?
Try Portrait mode when you want a person to stand out against a softened background. OPPO advertises a new Portrait Mode, but its available product information does not establish one ideal shooting distance or a universal set of control steps. OPPO’s F35 Pro 5G product page also notes that software features and availability may vary by region and software version.

- Check the preview around hair, glasses, shoulders, and other fine edges.
- Review the captured photo as well: if the subject outline looks artificial, retake it in ordinary Photo mode or change the framing.
How do I take better low-light photos, and what does Night mode do?
OPPO lists Night mode, but the published specifications do not state an exposure duration or guarantee a particular result. It is a mode to try for a dim, mostly stationary scene; keep the phone still during capture and brace it against a stable surface if convenient.
For people or pets that are moving, take several photos and choose the sharpest. A steady phone cannot prevent blur caused by subject movement during a longer capture.

Which resolution and frame rate should I use for video?
OPPO lists rear video recording at 4K and 30 fps, and at 1080p and 30 or 60 fps. It also lists EIS/OIS video options at the stated resolutions and frame rates. These are supported recording modes, not independent measurements of stabilization performance. Choose an option available in your camera interface, hold a stable stance, and avoid abrupt panning.
Should I use HI-RES or PRO mode?
OPPO includes both HI-RES and PRO among the available camera modes. HI-RES is worth trying when you want to capture with the high-resolution option, but the published information does not compare its results with standard Photo mode or promise a visible improvement. PRO mode is listed, but the available model-specific documentation does not establish its controls or recommended settings, so avoid relying on generic settings as if they were verified for this phone.

Can editing tools improve a photo afterward?
OPPO advertises Portrait Glow, Eraser, Clarity Enhancer, Unblur, and Reflection Remover. If a tool is available on your device, it can be worth trying for a specific issue: for example, Reflection Remover for glare through glass or Unblur for a slightly soft capture. Eraser may remove an unwanted element, but inspect the generated fill for mistakes. Compare edits with the original and keep changes subtle; save an unedited copy when the image matters. Availability may vary by region and software version.
