Bantam I can be obtained in three ways: buy it from the vendor Tian Wen for 11,400 coins, unlock it as a tier 4 reward on the Frozen Trail Reward Pass, or find it in loot as a weapon or a blueprint. The first two routes come from a guide updated October 9, 2026, and the third comes from the same guide plus general loot advice. Vendor stock, prices, and pass tiers can change after the October 8, 2026 Frozen Trail update, so confirm them in the game before you plan around them.
The three routes to Bantam I
The routes differ in certainty. The vendor and pass routes are specific, but they come from a third-party guide. Loot is a matter of chance, and the advice on where to look is a set of tips rather than a confirmed drop table.
Route 1: Buy it from Tian Wen
According to the Beebom guide updated October 9, 2026, Tian Wen sells Bantam I for 11,400 coins. The same guide says three revolvers are on sale at the time of writing. Vendor inventory rotates, so the listing you see may differ from this one. Open Tian Wen’s stock in the game and check the price before you spend coins.
Route 2: Unlock it on the Frozen Trail Reward Pass
The Beebom guide lists the base Bantam I as a tier 4 reward on the Frozen Trail Reward Pass. Embark’s official October 8, 2026 update confirms that the Frozen Trail Pass launched with that update. Its release notes do not name Bantam as a pass reward, so treat the tier placement as guide-reported until you see it in the pass screen. Check the pass track in the game’s progression menu to confirm the tier and whether it is still available.

- Plus: Character Cosmetic, Finger Gun Rapid Fire Emote, Cowboy Scrappy Body Type and Skin, 2 400 Raider Tokens.
Route 3: Find it in loot
Bantam can appear as a finished weapon or as a blueprint in loot containers, lockers, and weapon cases. Beebom suggests searching named locations across the maps and says that Night Raids, Redirection, and Hurricane may improve your odds. Those are recommendations, not published rates. Embark’s official notes do not give Bantam-specific odds, a drop table, or a location where it is guaranteed, so do not expect any particular spot to produce it on a fixed schedule.
If you find a Bantam blueprint
A blueprint is a recipe item, so you do not equip it directly. The general blueprint process, as documented in the community wiki, works like this:
Rank #2
- Extract from the raid with the blueprint in your inventory.
- Return to Speranza.
- Open the inventory, select the blueprint, and use its learn or consume action.
Learning the blueprint consumes it and adds the crafting recipe to your account. The sources reviewed for this article do not establish a Bantam-specific recipe, the workbench level it needs, or a verified list of blueprint sources, so check the in-game crafting screen for those details after you learn it.

What Bantam is
Embark’s September 23, 2026 preview describes Bantam as a weapon that “uses heavy ammo to punch a hole straight through your adversaries.” The same preview says it is “effective against ARC and Raiders” and has “a unique hip-fire capability.”

The October 8, 2026 official update adds Bantam and Stiletto to the game. It places Bantam in the uncommon hand-cannon role, which it took over after Anvil moved from green to blue rarity.
One third-party guide says Bantam cannot use weapon attachments. Embark’s official sources do not confirm this, so check the Gunsmith or weapon interface in your game before you rely on it.

Which route to choose
| Route | Cost or requirement | Certainty | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tian Wen vendor | 11,400 coins (Beebom, updated October 9, 2026) | Specific, but stock and price can change | Players who have coins and want the weapon now |
| Frozen Trail Reward Pass, tier 4 | Pass progression (Beebom, updated October 9, 2026) | Tier placement is guide-reported; the official notes do not name Bantam | Players already progressing the pass |
| Loot | Chance-based; no published drop rate | Not guaranteed; location tips are recommendations only | Players who want a weapon or blueprint as a bonus |
If you have enough coins, the vendor is the quickest route. If you are already working through the pass, check whether tier 4 is still available to you. Loot takes the most time and is the only route where a blueprint, which unlocks the recipe permanently, is possible.
