Contact Form v8 is a free Colorlib web-page template that pairs a contact form with a Google Maps background. It is a page template to add to a website—not a hosted form service—so confirm how the downloaded form handles submissions before relying on it to deliver messages.
What Contact Form v8 includes
Colorlib presents Contact Form v8 as a contact form over a full-page Google Maps background. Its description also mentions an editable checkbox for sending a copy to an email address. The page describes the appearance and map integration, but does not explain the checkbox’s precise behavior or establish that the form sends messages by itself. View Colorlib’s Contact Form v8 page.

How to get the template
- Open the Contact Form v8 page on Colorlib and review its preview and current download information.
- Use the page’s download form if you want the template. It asks for an email address and marketing consent; the accompanying text says occasional template updates will also be sent.
- Before reusing the files, check the current license and any attribution requirements. Colorlib lists the license as CC BY 3.0, but consult the license and package materials for the terms that apply to your use.
Check the release and update dates carefully
The page body lists April 2026 as the release date. A separate search-result presentation for the same page reports an update in September 2026. These are separate claims; the opened page body does not show the September update note. The result presentation also describes plain HTML and CSS with a few lines of vanilla JavaScript, and reports an 80 KB revised download instead of 2.4 MB previously, with no jQuery, Bootstrap files, or plugins. Those size and implementation details come from the search-result update note and were not independently confirmed by inspection of the downloaded package.
What to verify before putting it live
The key practical question is message delivery. Colorlib’s page does not document a submission endpoint, server-side processing, or spam controls. A visual form is not proof that a site owner will receive submissions. Inspect the downloaded files and their setup instructions, then test the complete submission flow on the deployed site before depending on it.
#1 Best Overall
- Case of 25 TV Template Sets
- Find out what endpoint receives the form submission and whether it is configured for your site.
- Confirm how the send-copy checkbox works and which address receives a copy.
- Check whether validation and spam protection are included or need to be added.
- Submit a test message from the live page and verify where it arrives, including whether the checkbox changes delivery.
The update note describes validation in plain JavaScript and a keyless Google Maps embed, but these are search-result claims, not verified package behavior. Check the current download rather than assuming those details apply to the files you receive.

Contact Form v8 may suit a project that wants a map-led contact page and can integrate and verify its own form delivery. Do not treat it as a ready-to-use hosted inbox or assume compatibility with a particular website builder: the cited page does not establish either. Colorlib’s page includes a Squarespace promotion, but that promotion does not confirm that this template works in Squarespace.
