To get a Cypriot IP address, connect to a VPN server location labeled Cyprus. Websites will generally see the VPN server’s public IP instead of your usual public IP. This changes the apparent network location—not your physical location—and does not guarantee that a website or streaming service will allow access.
How to get a Cypriot IP address
- Choose a VPN with a Cyprus location. Check the provider’s current server list and confirm that Cyprus is available on the plan you intend to use.
- Install the VPN app and sign in. Use the app on the device from which you want to connect.
- Select Cyprus and connect. Choose Cyprus from the location list or map. Proton VPN’s official Cyprus page describes selecting a Cyprus server and connecting to it.
- Check your public IP. Use a reputable IP lookup service and confirm that the result identifies Cyprus. IP geolocation databases can differ, so one lookup is not conclusive proof of how every website will classify the address.
- Troubleshoot if needed. Disconnect and reconnect, or try another Cyprus server if available. If the IP appears correct but a site still identifies another location, check for DNS or browser location conflicts and consider whether the site is using other signals.
VPN providers that list Cyprus
The following providers publish information about Cyprus locations. These are examples, not an independently tested ranking: their pages do not establish which service is fastest, works best for streaming, or has the strongest privacy protections.
| Provider | What its published information establishes | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Proton VPN | Its Cyprus page describes connecting to a Cyprus server for a Cypriot IP. | Confirm current Cyprus-location access for your chosen plan. A March 19, 2021 announcement described Limassol servers and paid-plan access at that time; that historical plan detail should not be treated as current eligibility. |
| Surfshark | Its Cyprus page advertises a Cyprus IP and describes IP masking and traffic encryption. | Check that Cyprus appears in the app and confirm the location is included in your current plan. |
| NordVPN | Its server directory lists Cyprus. | Confirm current availability in the app and the terms for your plan. |
Provider-published location information is not independent verification of performance or streaming access. Before subscribing, compare Cyprus availability, plan eligibility, supported devices, protocol choices, privacy and logging evidence, independent audit information, price, refund terms, and support. Prices and plan details can change.

What a Cyprus VPN connection does—and does not do
A VPN routes your traffic through a VPN server, so websites generally see that server’s public IP rather than your usual public IP. A Cyprus exit IP can help when a website uses IP-based location, but it does not move your device or change your actual location.

Real-world speeds may differ depending on your network configuration.*
- 【Easy Setup】Please refer to the User Manual and the Unboxing & Setup video guide on Amazon for detailed setup instructions and methods for connecting to the Internet.
- 【Pocket-friendly】Lightweight design(145g) which designed for your next trip or adventure. Alongside its portable, compact design makes it easy to take with you on the go.

- 【Keep your Internet Safe】IPv6 supported. OpenVPN & WireGuard pre-installed, compatible with 30+ VPN service providers. Cloudflare encryption supported to protect the privacy.
- It is not a streaming-access guarantee. A service may block VPN IP ranges or apply its own account and location rules. Access can change, and provider marketing claims are not independent confirmation that a particular catalog or service will work.
- It does not make you anonymous. VPN encryption protects the connection between your device and the VPN server, but accounts, cookies, browser fingerprinting, device identifiers, and the VPN provider remain relevant to privacy.
- A free plan does not necessarily include Cyprus. Check location access for the exact plan you are considering. Proton VPN currently advertises a free plan, while its 2021 Cyprus-server announcement described paid-plan access at that time; the older statement does not establish present-day eligibility.
How to choose among providers
Start with the practical requirement: the app must offer a Cyprus connection on your device and include it in your plan. Then assess privacy and service terms rather than assuming that a country listing or a provider’s own claims settle those questions.
