To complete Crossing the Threshold in CONTROL Resonant, gather evidence at the Loading Docks and Dig Site, use both Security Station computers, unlock the Field Hospital storage, then clear the Warehouse and speak with Wilson. To follow the walkthrough-reported reward route, believe Wilson, choose to host AVP-3, and finish the transfer at the marked Dig Site area.
This Central investigation links several evidence interactions, and missing one can leave the next objective unavailable. The route below follows the locations and sequence described by independent walkthroughs; Remedy’s official materials establish the game context but do not publish this mission’s route. The guides differ on some item names, so use your objective log as the authority for the labels displayed in your game.
Start the investigation in Central
Reach the Field Base or Field Office area in Central. One walkthrough specifies Level 1 clearance and reporting the dead researcher in the Field Hospital to Zoe by radio; another describes reaching Central and starting west of the Field Office. If the investigation does not appear, check the Field Hospital and nearby Loading Docks for clues before moving on. PowerPyx’s walkthrough and a second walkthrough give slightly different starting descriptions.

Collect the Loading Docks and Dig Site evidence
Inspect the Loading Docks camera
Find and examine the blinking security camera in the Loading Docks. The camera interaction is separate from collecting its surveillance footage later at the Security Station.

Report the body and retrieve the Dig Site items
At the Dig Site, report the body and collect Wilson’s ID card. Use the ID to access the elevated container and take the Threshold Site Recording. The walkthroughs use different names for some Dig Site items, including a Mobile Research Station Keycard in one account; check your in-game objective log rather than assuming those labels are interchangeable.
Get the code and footage at the Security Station
Use both computers at the Security Station. One provides the code for the Field Hospital storage; the other contains Loading Docks surveillance footage. Interact with the screens and continue cycling through them until the corresponding objectives update. Leaving after using only one computer can leave the investigation incomplete.
Unlock the Field Hospital storage
Return to the Field Hospital and open the locked storage with the code retrieved at the Security Station. The guides describe it variously as a locker or a green Archive Cabinet, and mention a Quarantine List note. Follow the interaction indicated by your objective log, collect the evidence inside, and check that the mission advances.
Find Wilson in the Warehouse
Go to the Warehouse and defeat the enemies there. Wilson is in a rear room; the conversation and AVP-3 decision become available after the area is cleared.

Spoiler: choose the walkthrough-reported reward route
If you want the rewards associated with this branch by the walkthroughs, believe Wilson and choose to host or carry AVP-3 yourself. Then return to the yellow-marked area at the Dig Site Threshold and complete the transfer. The guides associate this route with the Sensory Restraint Hood outfit and the Untapped Practice Knot artifact recipe. These are walkthrough-reported outcomes, not a reward confirmation published by Remedy.
If the next objective does not appear
- The Dig Site container will not open: Check that you collected Wilson’s ID from the body.
- The Field Hospital storage is still locked: Use the code terminal at the Security Station, then return to the storage.
- The investigation remains incomplete after the Security Station: Use the other computer for Loading Docks footage and cycle through its screens until the objective updates.
- Wilson or the next objective is missing: Check your log against the separate body report, camera inspection, Dig Site items, code, footage, and Field Hospital storage interaction.
- The transfer does not finish after hosting AVP-3: Return to the Dig Site and stand in the marked area to complete it.
Why this route is set in Central
PlayStation’s US listing identifies CONTROL Resonant as a PS5 game published by Remedy Entertainment Ltd. and gives September 24, 2026 as its release date. Remedy’s February 13, 2026 gameplay announcement describes Dylan Faden, large zones with side activities and optional discoveries, and gravity anomalies that shift gravity and orientation. Those details provide context for the game’s exploration, but do not change the evidence sequence in this mission.
