For Imperial County’s November 3, 2026 General Election, use the Registrar of Voters’ Find My Vote Center locator or the current “Vote Center & Drop Box Locations” sheet to choose a site and check its schedule. The county now uses Vote Centers rather than assigned traditional polling places, and voters may use any Vote Center in the county.
Find a Vote Center with the county locator or location sheet
- Open the Imperial County Registrar of Voters website. Go to the Registrar’s website and select “Find My Vote Center,” or open Current Election Activities and choose the November 3, 2026 General Election.
- Check the current “Vote Center & Drop Box Locations” sheet. The September 2026 county sheet lists addresses and the applicable opening schedule for each location. Use the locator to find a convenient site, then confirm its start date and hours in the county’s current information before leaving.
- Choose any Imperial County Vote Center. You do not need to find an assigned Election Day polling place; in 2026, voters can vote at any Vote Center in the county.
Older county registration guidance may refer to a “polling place” printed in a sample ballot booklet. That is legacy wording for this election: use the current Vote Center locator and schedule instead of relying on an assigned-site address.
November 3, 2026 voting hours and early-voting dates

Vote Center, drop box, mail: choose the right way to cast or return a ballot
The county’s 2026 Voter’s Choice Act information describes three ways to vote or return a ballot:
- Vote in person: Visit any Imperial County Vote Center to cast a ballot. Vote Centers also accept returned vote-by-mail ballots.
- Use an official ballot drop box: Drop off a completed ballot at a county drop box. Drop boxes are ballot-return points, not places to vote in person. The county’s November location sheet lists eight drop box sites separately from its 15 Vote Centers.
- Return by mail: Send the ballot in its provided postage-paid envelope.
At a Vote Center, voters can also register on the same day, get voting assistance and use accessible voting equipment. The county says staff provide assistance in multiple languages. The Voter’s Choice Act transition began in time for the June 2, 2026 Primary Election, replacing the traditional polling-site model with Vote Centers open over multiple days.
