Both the arena and casino are investigation locations in the Novigrad main quest Get Junior. The casino is east of St. Gregory’s Bridge; for the arena, use the active quest marker after speaking with Sigi Reuven, since available guides do not establish a comparably precise landmark. At either location, your approach can affect what you learn and which route remains available later.
When to look for the arena and casino
Progress through Get Junior and speak with Sigi Reuven until the quest presents its location objectives. The investigation can lead you to the arena, casino, and Junior’s hideout; the sources do not establish one mandatory order for visiting the arena and casino.
Use the active quest objective on the map and in the quest tracker to navigate to the arena. For the casino, head east of St. Gregory’s Bridge in Novigrad.
What to do at the arena
Follow the arena objective sequence shown in your quest log. Depending on your approach, you may fight in the ring or deal with the thugs, then investigate the site for documents.

- Search for documents and read them.
- Use Witcher Senses to locate access to the secret stash.
- Find and read the letter to advance the investigation.
How to enter the casino
At the casino east of St. Gregory’s Bridge, Game8 describes two peaceful entry options: pay 200 crowns or use Axii with Delusion at level 3. The same guide warns that killing the bouncers locks out the Gwent route.
- Pay or use Axii: Enter without starting a fight and retain the possibility of playing Gwent.
- Attack the bouncers: This is a combat approach, but according to Game8 it prevents access to the Gwent route.
Choices that can change the later route
The Witcher Wiki walkthrough warns that attacking or asking about Whoreson Junior while visiting the arena or casino can prevent you from using a secret passage later. It also says that involving Cleaver affects that route. If preserving the passage matters to you, avoid provoking Junior at these locations and consider the consequences before involving Cleaver. The available guide does not establish that every approach produces identical outcomes.

Once you have gathered information, return to the quest contacts or follow the next active objective in your quest log. The exact next step can vary with your choices, so use the tracker rather than assuming every playthrough follows the same sequence.
