Steven Stamkos is the Tampa Bay Lightning’s all-time regular-season leader in both goals and points: 555 goals and 1,137 points in 1,082 games, according to an NHL.com report published in 2026. These are his Lightning totals, not his totals across his entire NHL career.
Who leads the Lightning in goals and points?

How to look up the franchise records
- Open the Tampa Bay Lightning media-guide resources and find the team’s statistical registers.
- Open the all-time franchise-leaders table and check the GOALS and POINTS categories separately. They are distinct records; points include goals and assists.
- For current-season statistics, use a live NHL team career-statistics table, set the team filter to Tampa Bay, and verify that the table is showing the intended season scope. The historical media-guide register is not a live 2026–27 table.
Why Stamkos’s totals are Lightning-specific
Stamkos left Tampa Bay for Nashville in 2024. His later Nashville statistics do not count toward the Lightning franchise records. When checking a player’s career statistics, keep the team filter set to Tampa Bay rather than relying on an unfiltered NHL career total. NHL.com’s Lightning statistics page provides a starting point for team statistics.

- Goals: the franchise record for goals scored by a player while representing Tampa Bay is 555, held by Stamkos.
- Points: the franchise record for points earned while representing Tampa Bay is 1,137, also held by Stamkos.
These are regular-season records. They should not be treated as postseason totals, which are a separate statistical category.
