To find PlayStation Store deals on games you actually want, wishlist those games, turn on wishlist notifications, and check the official Deals page before buying. Then verify the exact edition, platform, account-region price, offer end date, and any PS Plus eligibility terms. Sales run throughout the year, but no particular game is guaranteed to be discounted in any one promotion.

Where to see current PlayStation Store deals

Start at the PlayStation deals and events page for the US Store, then check the current offer on the product page for the game you want. Sony says Store promotions happen throughout the year, so you do not have to wait for a named seasonal event. The page and available offers can differ by country; use your own account’s Store to confirm the price and terms.

#	Product	Price
1	$100 PlayStation Store Gift Card [Digital Code]	$100.00	Buy on Amazon
2	$25 PlayStation Store Gift Card [Digital Code]	$25.00	Buy on Amazon
3	$50 PlayStation Store Gift Card [Digital Code]	$50.00	Buy on Amazon
4	$10 -PlayStation Store Gift Card [Digital Code]	$10.00	Buy on Amazon
5	$75 PlayStation Store Gift Card [Digital Code]	$75.00	Buy on Amazon

Browse with a shortlist in mind rather than assuming a sale banner covers the games you want. Filter or search for each title, and check the specific edition you would buy. A promotion may include only selected games or editions.

How to get notified when a PlayStation game goes on sale

Add the game to your wishlist

Open the game’s product page and select the heart or wishlist control. Sony says wishlists are available on PS5, in the PlayStation App, and in the PC browser Store. You can add games from whichever of those you use.

Enable wishlist updates

Sony’s April 20, 2026 PlayStation Blog article lists these routes for turning on alerts:

#1 Best Overall

$100 PlayStation Store Gift Card [Digital Code]

Redeem for anything on PlayStationStore: games, add-ons, PlayStationPlus and more.
Everything you want to play. Choose from the largest library of PlayStation content.
Use gift card funds to contribute towards PlayStationPlus memberships.

PS5: Settings → Notifications → Wishlist Updates → enable “Show Pop-ups.”
PlayStation App: Settings → Push Notifications → Accounts and Offers → enable “Wishlist Updates.”

The settings labels above are translated from Sony’s German-language article and may differ with your system language, app version, or region. Sony says wishlist updates can flag discounts or price reductions and can also notify you when a wishlisted game joins the PS Plus Extra or Premium catalog. Alerts are a prompt to recheck the offer, not a guarantee that a game will be discounted by a particular amount.

What to check before buying

Open the product page for the exact offer and confirm what the listed price includes. Check these details before you complete the purchase:

Rank #2

$25 PlayStation Store Gift Card [Digital Code]

Redeem for anything on PlayStationStore: games, add-ons, PlayStationPlus and more.
Everything you want to play. Choose from the largest library of PlayStation content.
Use gift card funds to contribute towards PlayStationPlus memberships.

Platform: Make sure the offer is for the PS4 or PS5 version you need. If an edition includes both, verify that on its product page.
Edition and contents: Distinguish the base game from a deluxe edition, bundle, or version with add-ons. A higher price may include extra content you do not want; a lower price may not include content you expected.
Region and currency: Check the Store for your account’s country. Prices and local offers can vary by market.
End date: Confirm when the offer expires on the product page. A sale listing or notification is not a promise that the price will remain available.
Eligibility: Look for any PS Plus membership or other conditions attached to the offer. Sony’s 2026 Days of Play announcement described additional discounts on select Store games for PS Plus members and noted that membership promotions can vary by country, tier, and eligibility. Those offers were not universal.

Use sale events as reminders, not guarantees

Sony’s US deals calendar lists seasonal promotions and special events, but an event name does not tell you whether a specific game is included or whether its price is the lowest available. The cited 2026 dates are now past: Days of Play ran May 27–June 10, 2026, and the US Summer Sale ran July 15–August 12, 2026. Dates and offers can change by market and year. Check the current calendar for upcoming events, but keep the game wishlisted rather than delaying a purchase solely because you expect a future sale.

Compare the actual options, not an assumed “best” price

If you are willing to buy a physical copy and your console has a disc drive, compare the digital Store offer with a disc price from a participating retailer. Sony’s 2026 event announcement described separate promotions at participating retailers and said retailer prices may vary. A retailer disc offer is an alternative purchase channel, not a PlayStation Store digital discount; check availability and the version being sold.

The reviewed official sources do not establish a universal historical-low benchmark for games. Rather than treating a particular percentage off as objectively best, weigh the current total against your budget and when you intend to play. If the offer fits, buy it; if not, leave the game on your wishlist and wait for another promotion without assuming one will arrive on a set schedule.
