Use CSIR-IICT’s All Publications page to look for papers, its Patent Portfolio to browse patent entries, and institute people pages to locate researcher profiles. These are separate routes: a publications search is not a patent register, and a general portfolio entry does not establish a patent’s current legal or licensing status.
How do I find CSIR-IICT publications?
-
Open the institute’s All Publications page.
-
Enter a known phrase in Enter Title or Text, a researcher in Enter Author Name, or a journal in Enter Journal Name.
-
Select Search and check the results against the paper’s title, author list, journal, and publication year.

The page provides these search fields; it does not expose a static, complete publication list in the page content reviewed. If a search does not return a paper, try a shorter title phrase or an author-name variation, then verify the paper through its journal or another authoritative publication record. Do not treat the search page as proof that no matching paper exists.

Use announcements as a discovery route
The announcements page can surface publication news. When reviewed, it displayed a 2026 example, “Dual-ligand La-BTC@EDTA composite MOF: a bifunctional catalyst for efficient water splitting reaction,” listed with Electrochimica Acta. An announcement is a lead, not evidence that the feed contains every institute publication; check the underlying article record for its bibliographic details.
Where can I search CSIR-IICT patents?
Start with the official Patent Portfolio. It presents patent activity by research area within chemical science and technology. The areas named on the page include:
Rank #2
- Pharmaceuticals
- Agrochemicals
- Chemical biology
- Polymers
- Chemical processes
- Materials science
- Environmental technologies
Browse the area most relevant to the invention, then use any available title, inventor, reference, or patent number to locate and verify the specific record. A portfolio listing is not, by itself, proof of current licensing, legal status, ownership, family members, or jurisdiction coverage. Verify those claims against the individual patent record and an authoritative source suited to the question. The institute says it has licensed patents to companies for commercialization, but that page-level statement does not establish the current licensing status of every listed patent.

Use the institute’s people or employee-search navigation to find the relevant person, then open the official profile page. The director’s profile is an example: it identifies Dr. D. Srinivasa Reddy as Director, CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad, and includes expertise, a biography, and publications. Profile content varies; do not assume every researcher page has the same fields or is equally complete.
For a specific paper or patent, use the profile as a starting point rather than as the sole record. Confirm the researcher’s name alongside the paper’s bibliographic information or the patent’s available inventor and identifier details.
When should I use CSIR-IICT annual reports?
The annual-report index lists biennial reports for 2016–18 and 2018–20, as well as reports for 2022 and 2024. These dated documents are useful for institutional context and for understanding research activity in a particular reporting period. They are not a live publication or patent search, so use the relevant live page for an individual record.

The institute’s RTI page also describes patents as one form of IICT research output and lists institutional information available electronically, including biennial reports and R&D capabilities. Treat institutional background there as context, not as a substitute for checking a specific paper, patent, or researcher profile.

- Paper: Compare the author, title, journal, and year with the underlying publication record. An announcement or profile entry can help locate it, but the article record is the stronger bibliographic check.
- Patent: Compare the inventor, title, reference or patent number, and jurisdiction or status when those details are available. For legal or commercial questions, consult the individual record and an authoritative source for the jurisdiction and claim at issue.
- Researcher: Confirm that the profile belongs to the intended person and that its role or biography is current; institute profile pages can change.
Pages, announcements, profiles, patent listings, and licensing information can change. Check the current institute page and record before relying on time-sensitive details.
