Use HLTV’s match calendar to discover upcoming Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) fixtures, then check the tournament organizer’s event page to confirm match times, brackets, and results. For professional team rankings across tournaments, use the Valve Regional Standings (VRS)—not a tournament’s group table or playoff bracket.
Choose the right kind of CS2 information
“Standings” can mean different things in CS2 esports. Identify what you need before choosing a page:
- Upcoming matches: A date-ordered fixture list helps you see what is scheduled across events.
- Tournament results and bracket: An event page shows progress and outcomes within that specific competition.
- Professional team ranking: The VRS ranks teams based on performance in official tournaments; it is separate from any one event’s standings.
Find upcoming matches across the CS2 scene
Start with HLTV’s match calendar
Open HLTV’s Matches page for a broad, date-ordered listing of Counter-Strike fixtures. Listings include event names, match times, matchups, and best-of format, making the calendar useful for discovering games across multiple events.
Because the page covers a wide range of competitions, scan or filter for a team or event you follow. Treat it as a discovery tool rather than the final authority on a fixture: schedules can change, and a listing may not reflect the latest organizer update.

Confirm a fixture with the event organizer
Once you find a match, open the relevant tournament page to verify its current schedule. BLAST’s Counter-Strike tournament index separates upcoming and finished events and links to event-specific schedules, brackets, and results. It includes events from BLAST and other organizers, including ESL and PGL.
Check the time zone shown on the event page and look for any warning about provisional times. The reviewed sources do not establish one time-zone convention shared by all organizers, so do not assume a displayed time is local to you.

Check tournament results and brackets
For the most useful view of a particular event’s progress, open its event page and choose the schedule, bracket, or results view available there. The organizer’s page is the appropriate place to confirm that event’s match outcomes and bracket.
For example, BLAST’s IEM Cologne Major 2026 results page reported 32 teams and a $1,250,000 prize pool for that event. Those figures describe this tournament, not CS2 tournaments generally. The page also displayed the warning “All match times are placeholder currently”; that warning applies to the displayed page at the time represented by the source, not to every CS2 schedule.
Find professional team rankings with the VRS
To compare professional teams beyond one tournament, visit BLAST’s Valve Rankings page. It describes the Valve Regional Standings as a ranking system calculated from teams’ performance in official tournaments. Check the page’s “Latest” update date before quoting or relying on a position, because rankings can change.
A VRS position is not a team’s place in a tournament group or playoff bracket. Use the event page for those event-specific standings and the VRS for the broader professional ranking.

Match calendars and event pages serve different purposes: a broad calendar makes it easier to discover fixtures, while an organizer’s current event page is the better confirmation for that competition. If the dates or times differ, check the organizer’s page again near match time and treat its current listing as the final confirmation. If the discrepancy remains, do not silently present one time as certain.

- Check whether the event page labels times as placeholders or provisional.
- Recheck the fixture close to match time in case it has been revised or postponed.
- Confirm the time zone displayed by the page rather than converting from an assumed standard.
- For a ranking, read its latest update date; for a tournament result, use that tournament’s page.
