After completing Pyres of Novigrad, go to the marked house southeast of Hierarch Square. Speak with its owner, Rudolf de Jonkheer, then search upstairs and in the attic to uncover why Corinne Tilly is asleep. The cellar encounter with Sarah resolves the haunting; afterward, meet Corinne at the Golden Sturgeon. Spoilers: the cellar scene includes a choice that affects Sarah’s later story content.
Find Corinne’s house
- After Pyres of Novigrad, follow the quest marker to the house southeast of Hierarch Square.
- Speak with Rudolf de Jonkheer, the homeowner, and go upstairs. You will find Corinne asleep and unable to wake.
Follow the clues in the attic
- Use the ladder to reach the attic. Cast Aard on the blocked doorway to open the storage area.
- Use Witcher senses to locate the Drawing of a Crib and the Rag Doll.
- Take the doll to the crib in the side room off Corinne’s bedroom and place it there. The next clue—a drawing of an oven—points you toward the cellar.
Resolve Sarah’s haunting
Examine the oven in the cellar to discover Sarah, a godling. You can make a deal that lets her remain in the house, or try to drive her out. The choice changes Sarah’s later content, so pick according to the outcome you want.

After the encounter, speak with Corinne upstairs. If you chose to make a deal, avoid telling Rudolf that a godling was in the house if you want to preserve the friendly outcome with Sarah. The choice also affects a later conversation during Bald Mountain.

Meet Corinne at the Golden Sturgeon
Once Corinne is awake, go to her room on the upper floor of the Golden Sturgeon, west of the Hierarch Square signpost. Talk with her about Ciri and answer her questions. The conversation produces Geralt’s dream and a lead that advances the main story into Broken Flowers.
