To equip a Fortnite collaboration skin or other cosmetic you already own, open Locker from the lobby, select the item, and choose it to equip. To find items currently offered for purchase, check Fortnite’s Item Shop in-game or in a browser. The Shop rotates, so an absent item may return later, but Epic does not guarantee a return date.
Find a collaboration cosmetic that is available now
Browse the current sections of the Fortnite Item Shop in-game or on the web. Search or browse by the collaboration or character name, and check the exact item or bundle listing. A Shop listing is a changing snapshot, not a permanent catalog; its displayed price and availability can change.

If you do not see the cosmetic, check the Shop again later. Epic says it cannot guarantee when a specific cosmetic will return. Its guidance about Battle Pass items is narrower: items released in Battle Passes after August 7, 2024 may be available in the Shop at least 18 months after the pass expires, but availability is not guaranteed. That guidance is not a general return schedule for collaboration cosmetics.
Equip a cosmetic you already own
- Launch Fortnite and go to the lobby.
- Open Locker from the lobby menu.
- Select the outfit or other cosmetic you want to use.
- Choose the item to equip it.
Epic describes Locker as the place to manage appearance and gameplay customizations. It is available from the top menu of the Matchmaking Lobby; in-game, Locker access is also available through a Changing Booth.

Favorite items to find them more easily later, then use Sort + Filter in the relevant item category to show favorites. On PC, open the item’s three-dot menu and select Favorite Item. On console, press and hold the left stick.

Troubleshoot a missing Locker item
Epic says cosmetics and items on your Fortnite account are visible in Locker. If something you own is missing, work through these checks:
- Confirm that Fortnite is signed in to the Epic account that acquired the item.
- Open the relevant Locker category and clear active Sort and Filter settings that may be hiding the cosmetic.
- Check the Archived filter.
Check recent cosmetic purchases
Epic’s purchase-history guidance lets you check cosmetic purchases from the last 30 days. Open Account and Privacy and use Return or Cancel Purchase, either in-game or online, to review the available history. The 30-day limit is the stated lookback for this view.
Quick Recap

- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device.
