There is no current free Fortnite Sidekick offer verified in Epic’s official material as of October 3, 2026. Epic’s two announced free routes—Peels through the November 1, 2025 Battle Pass and Bonesy for eligible Bonesy Back Bling owners on November 7, 2025—were dated offers, not proof that either can be claimed now. Check Fortnite and Epic’s official channels for live offers; use the steps below to find Sidekick quests or customize a Sidekick you already have.
Which free Sidekick offers were announced?
| Sidekick or route | Eligibility and timing | What it means now |
|---|---|---|
| Peels | Epic said Peels would unlock in the Battle Pass on November 1, 2025. Epic’s announcement does not establish a free claim today. | Historical Battle Pass offer; current availability is not confirmed. |
| Bonesy | Epic said players who already owned the Bonesy Back Bling would be granted the Bonesy Sidekick on November 7, 2025. Delivery could take time to appear in the Locker. Epic’s announcement and Epic Support describe this grant. | Historical owner grant, not a current open claim. Eligible players who never saw it should check the Locker and Epic Support guidance. |
| Free quests or pass rewards | Epic says free items in general may come from in-game challenges, free Battle Pass content, or securing an account with 2FA. Its general free-item guidance does not verify an active Sidekick-specific reward. | Check the live Quests and Battle Pass screens for any currently available Sidekick reward. |
| Shop listings | Official Fortnite Item Shop Sidekick listings have displayed paid prices of 1,200 or 1,500 V-Bucks. See the Item Shop for changing inventory and prices. | Paid listings are not free rewards, and sampled prices do not establish current availability. |
| Meat Boy promotion | Epic Support documents a Meat Boy Sidekick for qualifying purchases of Super Meat Boy 3D starting March 31, 2026. Epic’s promotion details make this purchase-linked, not a free claim. | Not a free Sidekick route; check the official terms before relying on any promotion. |
Epic’s official material does not confirm a currently active free Sidekick offer as of October 3, 2026. Availability can change, so verify any offer in Fortnite or through Epic’s official websites and social channels rather than assuming an older announcement still applies.

How to find Sidekick quests in Fortnite
If you own a Sidekick, its quest list is available through either of these in-game routes, according to Epic Support:
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →- Open Fortnite and select the Quests tab.
- Choose the Sidekicks or paw entry on the left.
- Select a Sidekick to see its available quests.
You can also open Locker > Sidekicks, select a Sidekick, open its three-dot or edit menu, and choose Go to Quest. A Sidekick may no longer appear on the quest page after all its quests are complete.

- Gift card must be redeemed at EpicGames.com/redeem. This gift card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly on a console device (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, etc.)
- If you play Fortnite experiences on a console device, you need to link your Epic Games account to your console account(s) so items purchased at Fortnite.com/item-shop appear across all of your linked accounts
- Requires internet connection, valid Epic account and prior acceptance of the terms
- Redemption: Online
How to customize a Sidekick you own
Epic Support’s customization instructions use the Locker:
- Go to Locker > Sidekicks and select your Sidekick.
- Choose from the appearance options available for that Sidekick, then select NEXT STEP.
- Review the appearance, then hold LOCK-IN to confirm.
- Set a name and finish customization.
Review the look carefully before locking it in: Epic says the appearance is permanently locked after confirmation. Some Sidekicks do not have customization options.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

- Look for the offer in Fortnite or confirm it on an official Epic channel.
- Do not give your Epic account password or other credentials to third-party “free Sidekick” or “free V-Bucks” sites.
- Read the eligibility and dates: a past Battle Pass reward, owner grant, paid shop item, or purchase-linked promotion is not automatically a current free offer.
