To find all 10 Ghosts Exposed locations in GTA Online’s 2026 Halloween event, photograph ghosts during their in-game hourly windows, submit each image through Ghosts Exposed, and record the first nine before visiting the final ghost at Paleto Cove. The event runs October 1 through November 4, 2026, and Rockstar says its locations and rewards have been updated for this return (Rockstar event notes).
2026 Ghosts Exposed locations and in-game times
The times below use GTA Online’s in-game clock, not your local time. Each appearance window lasts one in-game hour—about two minutes in real time, according to the current location guide—so arrive early. Ghosts 1–9 each have two nearby possible spawn positions; check both if the first is empty. The final ghost has one listed position and appears only after you have photographed the other nine (GTA Boss’s 2026 guide).

| 8 | 04:00–05:00 | Church tower in Little Seoul | Inside, at the top |
| 9 | 05:00–06:00 | Tongva Hills waterfall | At the top or bottom of the falls |
The schedule wraps through midnight: ghost 10’s 00:00–01:00 slot falls between ghost 4 and ghost 5. A current GTA BOOM guide differs from GTA Boss on some specific placements. Rockstar confirms the locations changed for 2026 but does not list individual spawn points in its cited notes, so use the table as one coherent guide-reported route rather than an official Rockstar map (GTA BOOM’s 2026 guide).

- Reach the location before its listed in-game hour starts. The guide estimates that an in-game hour is about two minutes in real time, leaving little time to travel once a window opens.
- For ghosts 1–9, check both nearby possible spawn positions if the ghost is not at the first one.
- Open the in-game phone camera (Snapmatic), frame the ghost so it is visible, and take the photo.
- Choose the Ghosts Exposed send or submit option. Taking or saving a Snapmatic picture alone does not complete submission.
- Check the on-screen count or the Collectibles section of the Interaction Menu to make sure the photo registered.
- When the counter shows the first nine photographs, head to Paleto Cove for ghost 10.
GTA Boss advises keeping some distance because approaching too closely can make a ghost vanish. It also recommends arranging access to elevated spots, including the overpass and church tower, before the appearance window begins. These are guide-reported tips, not mechanics specified in Rockstar’s cited event notes.

How to plan the hunt around the short windows
The listed route alternates between Blaine County and Los Santos, so driving across the map in strict numerical order can consume a large part of a two-minute window. GTA BOOM recommends grouping the hunt into regional runs. GTA Boss suggests collecting ghosts 5–9 during their 01:00–06:00 windows, then getting ghosts 1–4 the following evening and ghost 10 at midnight, if that timing suits your progress. Ghosts 1–9 can be collected in any order, provided you reach each one during its own window; the suggested sequence is an optimization, not a requirement.

GTA Boss’s 2026 guide reports GTA$20,000 and 500 RP per ghost, a GTA$50,000 final-completion bonus, and the Ghosts Exposed Jacket for completing the set. It gives the base total for all ten as GTA$250,000 and 5,000 RP. GTA BOOM reported a temporary 2X GTA$ bonus during the weekly phase ending October 7, 2026. That weekly multiplier is date-sensitive and should not be assumed to apply after that phase. Rockstar confirms updated rewards but its cited notes do not specify these amounts or the jacket name.
