For Pearl’s ascension from level 20 to 80, plan for 308,000 Credits, 15 Whimsy Wax, 15 Dreamweave Steel, 15 Lucid Awl, and 65 Sea Siren’s Torn Fin. Her full Trace plan also calls for Elation Trace materials, more Whimsy-family drops, Tracks of Destiny, and 12 copies of a weekly boss material that the available guide identifies only by beta item ID 110509. Treat these totals as a planning estimate and verify names and counts against the live game client.
Pearl ascension materials
U7BUY’s Pearl guide, dated September 2, 2026, lists these requirements for the six ascension gates from level 20 to 80. It is a third-party guide based partly on beta information, not an official HoYoverse material list.

The Torn Fin requirement begins at the level 40–50 ascension gate, so it is not needed for Pearl’s first two ascensions. The guide flags a discrepancy between aggregate and discrete ascension data for Credits and Whimsy Wax; check the live client’s displayed requirements before spending resources.

Trace materials for a full build
The same guide’s full-build table gives the following Trace-material planning totals. These are separate from ascension costs; do not add the two lists together unless you are budgeting each category independently.

Item ID 110509 is not given an English name in the detailed guide. Do not assume a localized name: check Pearl’s Trace screen and the relevant Echo of War entry in your client. The guide says the weekly drop cannot be pre-farmed before that Echo of War becomes available.
Where to farm each material
Credits and character EXP
Credits and character EXP materials can be earned from Golden Calyxes and other in-game rewards. Golden Calyxes are useful when you need general leveling resources, but the cited Pearl guide does not provide a run count or a guaranteed total per attempt.

Elation Trace materials
Farm The Fluffy Hand-drawn Storyboards, The Fluffy Serialization Memorial Issue, and The Fluffy Collector’s Edition from the Elation Trace-material Crimson Calyx. The guide also lists shops and Omni-Synthesizer conversion as sources. Check the material’s in-game details for the current exchange and conversion options.

Sea Siren’s Torn Fin comes from Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Sirens in Warbling Shores, Styxia. This is the ascension-specific drop in Pearl’s list, and the stated target is 65 in total.
Whimsy-family materials
Whimsy Wax, Dreamweave Steel, and Lucid Awl are obtained through enemy drops and other in-game sources listed for those materials. Their exact drop quantities can vary by source; use the material’s in-client acquisition listing to choose an available route.
Tracks of Destiny
Tracks of Destiny come from progression rewards, shops, and limited-time events. Because some sources are time-limited or depend on your progression, inspect the item’s acquisition screen and available event or shop rewards rather than assuming a repeatable farm.

Practical farming order
- Check Pearl’s live material screen. Confirm the localized names and current totals for ascension and Traces; the guide warns that beta-derived data contains discrepancies.
- Use Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Sirens. Farm Sea Siren’s Torn Fin in Warbling Shores, Styxia, when preparing her ascensions.
- Run the Elation Trace-material Crimson Calyx. Target the three Fluffy Storyboard book rarities, using shop purchases or Omni-Synthesizer conversion when those options are available.
- Collect Whimsy-family drops while progressing. Use the in-game material acquisition details to identify currently available enemy sources and other routes for Wax, Steel, and Awl.
- Claim progression and event rewards for Tracks of Destiny. These complement shop sources and are not all necessarily farmable on demand.
- Wait for the relevant Echo of War for the weekly drop. The guide’s 12-unit requirement for beta item ID 110509 cannot be met by pre-farming it before that activity opens.
How to interpret conflicting totals
GameHub’s version 4.6 guide independently reports 308,000 Credits and 65 “Siren Fins” for ascension, plus 3,000,000 Credits for Trace upgrades. Its labels and category totals do not align perfectly with U7BUY’s table, so those figures should not be merged into one total without matching the categories and item names in the live client. HoYoverse’s official character page confirms Pearl’s identity but does not publish her material requirements.
