To extend battery life on the OPPO F35 Pro 5G, first check Settings > Battery to find which apps are using the most power, then use the built-in Save power optimization if it is available. When the charge is critically low, Super Power Saving Mode can preserve power by restricting normal app access to six apps you choose. Menu names can vary by software build and region; search Settings for “battery” or “power saving” if a path differs.
Start by finding what is using the battery
- Open Settings > Battery.
- Review battery usage details and note which apps have consumed the most power recently.
- Address the likely cause before applying broad restrictions. Limiting background activity can delay notifications or change how an app behaves.
OPPO’s ColorOS 14.0 manual says the battery-use view shows app power consumption and runtime for the recent period. The F35 Pro 5G (model CPH2829) is listed with ColorOS 16.5, so the precise labels may differ on your phone. Use routine power-saving options
Run Save power optimization
The ColorOS 14.0 manual describes Optimize battery usage > Save power as a one-tap option that detects power-consumption issues and helps extend battery life. The path is guidance from an earlier ColorOS version, not confirmation that every F35 Pro 5G running ColorOS 16.5 uses identical labels. Search Settings for “power saving” if you cannot find it.
Consider Sleep standby optimization
This option puts the phone into a low-power state during sleep and reduces push-notification frequency. Use it if overnight savings matter more than receiving every notification promptly; alerts may arrive less often while it is active.

Use Super Power Saving Mode when charge is low
For a low-battery situation when you need the phone to last until you can recharge, OPPO Support gives this ColorOS 16-and-above path: Settings > Battery > Super power saving mode. OPPO says the mode lets you use only six applications of your choice and applies additional saving strategies, including processor-frequency scaling and screen-brightness adjustment. Adjust screen and connectivity to suit the situation
- Lower screen brightness when comfortable, especially if you are using the phone for a long time.
- Avoid unnecessary high-refresh use if you prefer longer runtime over the smoother display experience.
- Turn off connectivity or features you are not using when practical.
These are general smartphone power-saving steps; OPPO’s cited materials do not establish a specific F35 Pro 5G menu path for each adjustment or quantify how many extra hours any one change will provide. Make changes based on your needs rather than expecting a fixed runtime gain.

Know what OPPO’s battery figures mean
OPPO India lists the CPH2829 battery as 8,000 mAh typical and 7,780 mAh rated, corresponding to 31.36 Wh typical and 30.50 Wh rated. Its product page also publishes endurance figures, but these are vendor claims—not guarantees for an individual phone:

OPPO cautions that actual battery life varies with network configuration, usage patterns, and other factors. The product page also says its claim that the battery retains at least 80% capacity after six years comes from laboratory simulation at 25 ± 2 °C; it is not a result every owner is assured of. When settings are not enough
If you expect to be away from an outlet for a long day, a USB-C power bank provides charging access rather than reducing the phone’s power demand. Check the specific power bank’s output and compatibility with the phone; the available OPPO specifications do not establish that a generic power bank will provide SUPERVOOC charging speeds.
