PikaShow-branded pages advertise an Android APK, but the available sources do not verify a trustworthy release history or the safety of a specific streaming APK. A similarly named Google Play listing describes a movie-discovery guide, not that streaming app. If you want free movies on Android, Tubi is a clearer option: it says its ad-supported service is free and provides installation instructions through Google Play, subject to regional availability.
What does the PikaShow download offer?
A PikaShow-branded FAQ says, “You can only download and install PikaShow APK from our website.” The same FAQ claims the app offers free streaming, downloads, and live TV. These are the site’s claims; they do not independently establish that content is licensed, that a current app build is genuine, or that an APK is safe to install. Read the PikaShow-branded FAQ.
Is a PikaShow APK genuine and safe?
The reviewed sources do not establish a trustworthy first-party release record for the advertised “V90” streaming APK, or verify a particular file’s publisher, signature, release history, or contents. A 2026 secondary analysis warns that version labels and safety assurances on different download sites do not authenticate an APK. That is a limitation in verification, not proof that every file carrying the PikaShow name contains malware. See the 2026 provenance analysis.
The FAQ’s “100% safe to use” wording is the site’s own assurance, not an independent security assessment. Because a specific APK has not been authenticated here, there is no verified download link or responsible step-by-step sideloading guide to provide.

Is the Google Play PikaShow listing the streaming app?
No: the similarly named Google Play result describes a movie and TV discovery guide, including trailers and where-to-watch information. It is not identified as the streaming APK promoted by third-party download pages. Before installing an app, compare the developer name and stated functions with what you intend to use; a matching name alone does not establish that two apps are the same. What has been reported about copyright and enforcement?
In a 2024 Notorious Markets filing, the Motion Picture Association (MPA), an industry association, described PikaShow as an India-associated application and alleged that it circumvented rights holders’ technological protections and reuploaded or hosted content through third-party services. The MPA filing says that “In November 2022, the Delhi High Court directed the blocking of URLs offering the Pikashow app for download.” It also reports that Bengaluru police arrested a suspected operator in January 2023. The same filing reports that, according to the MPA’s analysis, PikaShow was downloaded “over 10 million times” across mobile application stores and Telegram. It also cites SimilarWeb data reporting more than 16 million visits from January to August 2024 for a group of listed PikaShow-related sites. These are dated figures reported in the filing—not current usage totals or independently audited counts of unique users.

How can you watch free movies on Android instead?
Tubi is one alternative. Tubi describes its service as “Thousands of movies and TV shows. Always Free. 100% Legal.” Its Help Center says advertising supports content supplied by studio partners. Those statements describe Tubi’s own service; they are not a claim that its catalog matches PikaShow’s. The service and available titles vary by region.
