Download Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach from the official digital store for your device: Steam or Epic Games Store on Windows PC, PlayStation Store on PS4 or PS5, Nintendo eShop on Switch, or Xbox Store on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Buy or otherwise obtain the base game through that store, then install it from the same account’s library. The base game is not listed as free; Ruin is a separate free story DLC listing on the official stores.

Store listings and availability can vary by country. Open the store for your region and verify the title, edition, price, and compatibility before purchasing. Nintendo’s file size and Steam’s storage requirement describe different platform listings, not comparable measures of performance.
Download and install the game
- Open the official store for the device you plan to use and sign in to the account that will own the game.
- Find Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach in that store. Check the platform and edition, then review the local price, age rating, and compatibility details.
- Purchase the base game, or select the store’s obtain option if it is already owned by your account.
- Open the store’s owned-games library or equivalent, select the game, and start the download or installation. Exact labels vary by platform and can change.
- Wait for installation to finish, then launch the game from the console’s game library or the PC launcher used to install it.
Check PC storage and system requirements
Steam’s Windows listing specifies 80 GB of available storage. Its listed minimum requirements are Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB RAM, DirectX 12, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i5-6600K processor, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. These are Steam’s published minimum specifications, not a guarantee of performance on every PC; check the current listing before downloading because specifications can change.
For Switch, Nintendo lists the game file size as 8.7 GB. Updates may change the space needed, so check the console’s store listing and available storage before installation.

Is Security Breach free?
The official listings covered here present Security Breach as a paid base game, not a free download. Store prices and sales vary by region and date, so check your local listing rather than relying on a quoted price. Avoid unofficial download sites and installers: the official platform stores are the supported routes, and the listings do not establish that third-party files are safe.
Download the free Ruin DLC
Ruin is free story DLC listed for the game on the official platform stores. Find the Ruin add-on in the store for your device and check its listing to see whether you need to claim or download it separately. On Xbox, the listing explicitly says the base game is required. Availability and packaging may differ by platform, so follow the instructions shown in the relevant store.

Verify rating and regional details
Age ratings differ by country. The US Steam listing identifies the game as ESRB Teen (13+) for fantasy violence; check the rating displayed by your own regional store. The cited Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox listings are US regional pages, so their details may not match every market.
