As of October 7, 2026, the Eternal Blade demo was not yet available to install on Steam. Shibui Labs had announced a free demo for October 2, but the official Steam page still said the game was not yet available. The official website also advertised the demo for Steam Next Fest, October 19–26, 2026. Check the official Steam listing for its current status, and use a demo installation option only if one appears.
Is the Eternal Blade Steam demo available?
Not according to the official Steam listing inspected on October 7, 2026. Although the listing announced a free demo dated October 2, it still displayed “This game is not yet available on Steam” and invited visitors to wishlist the game. The official Eternal Blade website separately says the demo is to be played during Steam Next Fest, October 19–26, 2026. These are announcements, not confirmation that the demo is currently downloadable; check Steam for the live status.
The listing is for Eternal Blade, a PC game by Shibui Labs LLC. It describes the game as an open-world action RPG, while the developer’s website calls it an open-world Souls-like RPG set in the Baransu Realm.
How to check for and install the demo
The official sources do not confirm the exact installation or launch flow, account or regional restrictions, or whether access will be open to everyone. When checking, rely on the current Steam listing rather than assuming the announced date means the demo is live.

- Check whether the page still says the game is not yet available. If so, there is no confirmed demo installation option to use at that time.
- If Steam displays a demo installation option, follow the on-page prompts to add and install it. The available sources do not verify the button label or subsequent launch steps.
What the announced demo includes
According to Shibui Labs’ Steam listing, the demo is planned to include four explorable regions: Forbidden Forest, Kubu Forest, Fukushū Bay, and an extended open world. The developer estimates one to two hours of main quest and side activities; this is a listing estimate, not independently measured playtime.
The listed features include the full combat system and Almighty Power Meter, stealth, crafting, cooking, fishing, hunting, and mining, along with weapons, materials, and items tied to Shibui Universe lore. The listing calls it a demo and warns players to expect rough edges: “This is a Demo. Expect rough edges. Expect soul.”

The minimum processor entry is written ambiguously as “i5-8500 Ryzen / 5 2600X”; confirm it on Steam rather than treating that wording as a clear either-or specification. Requirements do not establish how the demo will perform on a particular PC.
