The reliable way to download PredatorSense is through Acer’s model-specific support page. A second Microsoft Store route exists for AcerSense, but it is not a universal PredatorSense download and should not be treated as a replacement for the Acer Support package.
Method 1: Download PredatorSense from Acer Support
Acer does not provide one installer that works on every Predator laptop or desktop. The available PredatorSense package depends on your exact computer model and selected operating system.
Steps
- Open Acer’s Drivers and Manuals page.
- Identify your computer by entering its Serial Number, SNID, or Model number.
- On the results page, open the Application tab. PredatorSense is listed as an application, not as a driver.
- Find PredatorSense and select Download.
- When the download finishes, locate the compressed archive in File Explorer.
- Right-click the archive and choose Extract or Extract All.
- Open the extracted folder and double-click the installer application. Acer’s instructions do not promise a particular installer filename such as
Setup.exe, so use the installer supplied in that folder. - Follow the installation prompts. After installation, search for PredatorSense from the Windows Start menu.
Do not run the installer from inside the ZIP file. Acer’s documented process is to extract the archive first and then launch the installer from the extracted folder.
If PredatorSense is not listed

If the application still does not appear after checking those items, Acer may not offer PredatorSense for that particular model or operating-system selection. Avoid downloading a random package from a third-party driver site.

Method 2: Check the Microsoft Store for AcerSense
The Microsoft Store has a listing for AcerSense 5.0. This is a separate Acer application from PredatorSense. It is not proof that every Predator computer can install PredatorSense from the Store.
Use this route only when your Acer model supports AcerSense or Acer specifically directs you to use it.

Steps for AcerSense
- Open the AcerSense Microsoft Store listing.
- Select Get or the available install button and sign in to the Microsoft Store if prompted.
- If Acer has supplied you with an AcerSense ZIP through its support page, open File Explorer, select the ZIP, and choose Extract All.
- Choose a destination, select Extract or Next according to the Windows prompt, and open the extracted AcerSense folder.
- Double-click the AcerSense setup application if you are installing the downloaded package.
- After installation, select the Windows icon, search for AcerSense, and open it.
Acer’s current PredatorSense installation instructions continue to direct Predator owners to the model-specific Acer Support download. Therefore, if your goal is specifically PredatorSense, use Method 1 first. Do not install AcerSense simply because PredatorSense is missing from the Store.

Fix the 0x803F8001 PredatorSense error
If Windows displays 0x803F8001 with the message “PredatorSense is currently not available in your account,” Acer recommends reinstalling the model-specific package rather than assuming that a generic Store download will fix it.

- Uninstall PredatorSense from Settings → Apps → Installed apps.
- Return to Acer’s Drivers and Manuals page.
- Identify the computer with its Serial Number, SNID, or Model number.
- Open Application and download PredatorSense.
- Extract the archive, open the extracted folder, and run the installer.
Acer associates this error with issues such as the Microsoft Store account not matching the account associated with the app, failed Store license synchronization, or Windows being reinstalled, reset, or moved to different hardware. If the error remains after reinstalling the Acer package, sign in to the Microsoft Store with the account that owns the app and retry.
Before installing
- Use the package shown for your own Acer model.
- Download from Acer Support or the official Microsoft Store listing, not an unofficial driver repository.
- Extract ZIP downloads before launching the installer.
- Do not assume a version number applies to every Predator computer. Acer’s support page shows the latest package available for the identified device but does not publish one universal PredatorSense version.

Can I download PredatorSense from the Microsoft Store?
Acer’s official PredatorSense instructions direct users to the model-specific Acer Support page. The Microsoft Store listing verified here is for AcerSense 5.0, which is a separate application and is not a universal PredatorSense download.
Why is PredatorSense missing from Acer’s download page?
Check that you entered the correct Serial Number, SNID, or Model number and that you opened the Application tab rather than a driver category. If it remains absent, Acer may not provide PredatorSense for that model or operating-system selection.

Should I install AcerSense instead of PredatorSense?
Only if Acer lists AcerSense for your model or specifically directs you to use it. AcerSense and PredatorSense are separate applications, and Acer does not state that AcerSense replaces PredatorSense on every Predator computer.
Why must I extract the PredatorSense ZIP file?
Acer distributes the application as a compressed archive. Extract it with File Explorer’s Extract or Extract All command, then run the installer from the extracted folder.
