Connect a laptop or streaming stick to the XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser with HDMI, then press the remote’s Input control and choose HDMI. For a phone, use Google Cast or DLNA if the phone and app support a compatible method; a wired phone connection requires a video adapter the phone supports. The projector also has Google TV built in, so a separate streaming stick is optional.
This guide applies to the XGIMI Elfin Flip Laser (model WM03R), not the non-Laser Elfin Flip (model WK03C). XGIMI lists one HDMI (eARC) input, one USB 2.0 input, Google Cast/DLNA mirroring, and built-in Google TV for the Laser model. XGIMI’s Elfin Flip Laser product page and feature page describe these options.
Connect a laptop to the Elfin Flip Laser
- Connect the laptop’s HDMI output to the projector’s HDMI input with an HDMI cable. The projector has one HDMI (eARC) input, according to XGIMI’s product specifications.
- On the projector remote, press Input and choose HDMI.
- If the laptop has no HDMI port, use an adapter that is compatible with the laptop and outputs HDMI. Check the computer maker’s documentation to confirm that its port and adapter support video output; XGIMI does not list compatibility for particular laptop models or adapters.
Connect a phone wirelessly
The Elfin Flip Laser lists Google Cast/DLNA mirroring. Try the compatible casting or media-sharing option available on your phone or in the app you want to use. Projector-side support does not guarantee that every phone, app, or content service can cast to it. XGIMI’s feature information does not provide a complete compatibility list for phones, operating systems, apps, or networks.
Connect a phone with a cable
For a wired connection, connect a phone-compatible video adapter that outputs HDMI to the projector, then select HDMI with the remote’s Input control. Check the phone maker’s documentation for video-output support before buying an adapter: having a USB-C port alone does not establish that the phone can send video through it. XGIMI’s product page and feature page do not identify compatible phone models.

Connect a streaming stick
- Plug the streaming stick into the projector’s HDMI input.
- Use the remote’s Input control to select HDMI.
- Complete setup using the stick maker’s instructions. XGIMI’s reviewed product information does not specify the power requirements for third-party sticks, so follow the requirements for your particular device.
A stick is optional: the Elfin Flip Laser has Google TV built in, which you can use instead of an external streaming device. XGIMI lists Google TV as part of the projector.
If a wired device does not appear
- Confirm the HDMI cable or adapter is connected to the projector and source device, and select HDMI with the remote’s Input control.
- Check that the laptop, phone, or stick is outputting video.
- If you are using an adapter, verify that it supports video output from that specific source device.
These are general checks; the XGIMI sources cited above do not publish a model-specific blank-screen troubleshooting sequence.

Choose wired or wireless for a phone
- Choose casting if your phone and the app or content support a compatible Google Cast or DLNA route.
- Choose HDMI through an adapter if the phone supports wired video output and you prefer a cable.
- Use built-in Google TV if you want to stream through the projector without relying on phone mirroring or adding a separate stick.
