This October 2026 snapshot includes vivo phones listed with fingerprint readers, whether the sensor is in the display or elsewhere. The listings are discovery aids, not a verified inventory of every vivo phone currently on sale; confirm the exact model, variant, sensor and live price before buying.
What the October 2026 listings cover
Category filters produce different results. 91mobiles lists 327 vivo fingerprint phones, priced from ₹10,999 to ₹159,999, and its separate in-display category lists 180 phones, priced from ₹18,499 to ₹159,999. These are 91mobiles category counts and listed ranges, not an audited count or price range for every vivo handset currently sold in India. Prices below are examples from two different sources, not a like-for-like comparison. vivo India store prices are offers shown for specified variants; MySmartPrice describes its figures as the lowest prices available across stores, which may vary by store and location. A phone listed as having a fingerprint reader does not, by itself, tell you where the sensor sits or which technology it uses. The official vivo product pages confirm these two examples:

- T5 5G: vivo specifies an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. Its page lists the 6GB+128GB variant at ₹34,999 in the October 2026 snapshot. T5 5G product details.
Those specifications should not be generalized to other phones in the category lists. For a model not confirmed on its official product page, treat the sensor placement and type as unverified until you check the exact model specification.
How to choose and verify a listed phone
- Match the full model and variant. Check the model name, RAM, storage and 4G or 5G version on the retailer or vivo listing. A price without a matching variant is not a dependable comparison.
- Confirm the sensor placement and type. Look for the product specification for the exact model. Decide whether you prefer an in-display reader or another placement, and check whether the stated technology matters to you.
- Compare prices from the same date and source type. Treat an official-store offer and a third-party lowest-price listing as separate quotes. Confirm the live price, seller, location-specific availability and offer conditions at checkout.
- Check the rest of the phone against your needs. Compare core specifications and availability alongside the fingerprint reader; sensor presence alone does not establish that a phone is the right value for you.
Check case and screen-film compatibility
Accessories are model-specific. vivo’s V70 page lists a case and protective film in the box, while the official store also lists protective films for named models. Check the exact phone fit and, for an in-display reader, whether the film is compatible with fingerprint recognition. See vivo India’s accessories listings.
