The Snapdragon 695 is the more capable platform overall: it uses a newer 6 nm process, has a higher maximum CPU clock, lists newer Adreno graphics, and supports 5G. The Snapdragon 665 is an LTE-only platform. Third-party benchmark comparisons also favor the 695, but scores are not a promise of how any particular phone will perform.
Snapdragon 695 vs. 665 specifications
Qualcomm’s specifications show the 695 as the newer platform, with advantages in CPU clock, listed GPU, cellular connectivity, and charging support. The 665’s display capability should be checked against the specific phone: Qualcomm’s 695 page lists FHD+ support at up to 120 fps, while the cited 665 specification does not establish a comparable figure.
| Specification | Snapdragon 695 | Snapdragon 665 |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Kryo 660, up to 2.2 GHz | Kryo 260, up to 2.0 GHz |
| GPU | Adreno 619 | Adreno 610 |
| Manufacturing process | 6 nm | 11 nm |
| Cellular platform | X51 5G modem; Sub-6 and mmWave support | X12 LTE modem |
| Charging technology support | Quick Charge 4+ | Quick Charge 3.0 |
| Display capability listed by Qualcomm | FHD+ support at up to 120 fps | Comparable capability not stated in the cited Qualcomm specification |
| Image signal processor | Spectra 346T triple ISP | Spectra 165 ISP |
These are platform capabilities, not guarantees about a phone’s screen, charging speed, camera modes, or photos. Manufacturers choose the display, charging hardware, camera sensors, software, and supported features for each model. Consult Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 specifications and Snapdragon 665 specifications, then verify the exact phone variant.

The 695 includes Qualcomm’s X51 5G modem and supports Sub-6 and mmWave; the 665 uses an X12 LTE modem and does not provide 5G. If 5G matters, the 695 is the clear choice between these two chipsets. A phone’s actual network compatibility still depends on its regional model and supported bands, so check those details with the manufacturer or carrier rather than relying on the processor name alone.

What the benchmark comparison says
CPU-Monkey’s comparison database reports higher results for the Snapdragon 695 in each of the listed tests:
| Benchmark | Snapdragon 695 | Snapdragon 665 |
|---|---|---|
| Geekbench 6 single-core | 894 | 334 |
| Geekbench 6 multi-core | 2,044 | 1,170 |
| AnTuTu 9 | 361,205 | 179,655 |
These figures are from CPU-Monkey’s comparison, not Qualcomm laboratory results. They indicate the direction of that database comparison, not a controlled, matched-phone test. Scores can vary with the device, cooling, memory, software, operating conditions, and benchmark version; they should not be treated as guaranteed results for every 695 or 665 phone.
Geekbench’s mobile results listing includes Snapdragon 695 devices such as the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, OnePlus Nord N20, and Xiaomi Poco X5. It is a changing device-results page, not a fixed chip-to-chip test. Differences among device results illustrate why a score from one handset cannot stand in for every phone using that chipset.

Efficiency, graphics, and everyday use
CPU and graphics
The 695’s Kryo 660 CPU reaches up to 2.2 GHz, compared with up to 2.0 GHz for the 665’s Kryo 260. Qualcomm also lists Adreno 619 graphics for the 695 and Adreno 610 for the 665. Together with the benchmark comparison, those specifications make the 695 the stronger choice on paper for processing and graphics. They do not establish a particular frame rate or guarantee smooth performance in a specific game; the phone’s cooling, memory, display resolution, and software matter too.
Process node and battery life
Qualcomm specifies a 6 nm process for the 695 and an 11 nm process for the 665. A newer process can support efficiency improvements, but the node alone does not establish how long a phone lasts on a charge. Battery capacity, screen, radio use, software, and device design all affect battery life.
Camera and display features
The 695’s Spectra 346T triple ISP and the 665’s Spectra 165 ISP describe image-processing capabilities at the platform level. They do not guarantee camera quality or a specific photo or video feature: the phone maker determines the sensors, camera system, and software. Likewise, confirm the display specification on the phone’s own product page rather than assuming every phone implements all chipset capabilities.

Which chipset should you choose?
- Choose a Snapdragon 695 phone if you want 5G or are comparing processing and graphics capabilities on paper. Confirm that the particular model supports your carrier’s bands and has the features you need.
- A Snapdragon 665 phone may still suit you if LTE is sufficient and the complete phone is a better fit for your budget or needs. The chipset comparison alone cannot determine whether that phone is a better purchase.
Compare the actual handsets before deciding: price, software support, battery, display, cameras, memory, and regional network compatibility can outweigh chipset differences in day-to-day ownership. A newer processor does not make every phone using it a better buy.
Why the Snapdragon 695 exists in this comparison
Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 695 5G in October 2021 alongside the Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G, 480 Plus 5G, and 680 4G. The company described the release as enabling increased performance and capabilities across its high-, mid-, and entry-tiers in its October 2021 announcement. That launch context helps date the platform, but the choice between two phones still depends on their current specifications and support.
