The Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 is the faster chipset overall in the available comparison, and it is the only one of the two with 5G support. The Helio G35 lists a higher maximum CPU clock, but the reported benchmark scores favor Snapdragon. Those scores are publisher-reported results, not guaranteed performance in every phone.
Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 vs Helio G35 specifications
The key differences are cellular connectivity, CPU platform, manufacturing process, and graphics. Qualcomm and MediaTek publish the platform specifications below; handset makers determine how a chipset is implemented in a particular phone.
| Specification | Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 | Helio G35 | Practical meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cellular | 5G NR; peak download speed listed up to 1Gbps | 4G LTE; dual 4G SIM support | Snapdragon is the option for 5G, where the phone variant and carrier support it. |
| CPU | 64-bit Kryo, up to 2GHz | Eight 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 cores, up to 2.3GHz | The G35 has the higher stated clock, but clock speed alone does not determine overall performance. |
| Manufacturing process | 4nm, per Qualcomm | 12nm FinFET, per MediaTek | Process size is useful context, not a standalone measure of a phone’s battery life. |
| Graphics | Adreno; Qualcomm’s cited specification page does not state a model number | IMG PowerVR GE8320, up to 680MHz | The available specification does not support naming a specific Adreno model. |
| Wi-Fi and Bluetooth | Wi-Fi 5; Bluetooth 5.1 | Wi-Fi 5; Bluetooth 5.0 | Both list Wi-Fi 5; the stated Bluetooth versions differ. |
| Memory and storage support | Not stated on Qualcomm’s cited product page | LPDDR3 or LPDDR4x memory; eMMC 5.1 storage | Actual memory and storage in a phone depend on its model and configuration. |
| Example phones listed by 91mobiles | Xiaomi Redmi A4 | POCO C3 | These are examples, not confirmation of current availability or a buying recommendation. |

Which chipset is faster in benchmarks?
91mobiles reports higher results for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 in both the AnTuTu total and the listed Geekbench scores. Its comparison identifies the AnTuTu figures as tested by 91mobiles; the page excerpt does not fully identify the test phone configurations or conditions. Treat the numbers as reported comparison results rather than a controlled same-device experiment or a promise of the score any phone will achieve.

| Geekbench single-core | 840 | 179 |
| Geekbench multi-core | 1,963 | 977 |
These are the values reported on the 91mobiles comparison page; it does not state the year for these results. Scores can vary with device configuration and testing conditions, so they are most useful as evidence of the direction of this comparison, not as exact predictions for a specific handset.
What the 5G and 4G difference means
Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 supports 5G NR, with Qualcomm listing peak download speeds up to 1Gbps. Helio G35 is a 4G LTE platform with dual 4G SIM support, according to MediaTek. If 5G is a requirement, the Snapdragon platform is the clear fit between these two.

A chipset’s capabilities do not guarantee that every phone using it will connect to every network. Check the exact phone variant’s supported bands and the carrier’s coverage and compatibility before buying; the listed peak download speed is a platform specification, not a typical-speed guarantee.
Why the G35’s higher CPU clock does not make it faster
MediaTek lists Helio G35’s eight Cortex-A53 cores at up to 2.3GHz, compared with Qualcomm’s listed Kryo CPU clock of up to 2GHz for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2. These clock figures describe different CPU implementations. A higher frequency by itself does not establish that a processor completes more work or that a phone feels faster. The reported AnTuTu and Geekbench comparison favors Snapdragon despite its lower stated peak clock.

The graphics specifications also differ: MediaTek names the G35’s IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics and its maximum frequency, while Qualcomm’s cited page identifies Adreno graphics without a model number. MediaTek describes the G35 as enabling mainstream gaming phones with HyperEngine, but that is the manufacturer’s product description, not an independent gaming measurement. The available sources do not establish a comparable gaming test for these two chipsets.
What the process figures say about battery life
Qualcomm describes Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 as using a 4nm process; MediaTek lists Helio G35 as 12nm FinFET. These figures provide manufacturing context, but they cannot establish how long a particular phone will last on a charge. Qualcomm cautions that battery life varies with the device, settings, usage, and other factors. The cited sources do not provide a comparable controlled battery-life test for the two platforms.

How to choose between phones using these chipsets
Choose based on the complete handset, not the processor name alone. 91mobiles lists Xiaomi Redmi A4 as an example of a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 phone and POCO C3 as an example of a Helio G35 phone; those listings do not establish current stock, price, or the exact variant available where you live.
