Do not assume Banpresto Grandista figures—or Banpresto lines generally—share one standard scale. Grandista is described as a large, non-articulated display figure line, but its published height guidance is approximate. Compare the exact release’s height, base, pose footprint, and features before buying.
Does every Grandista figure have the same scale?
No. The available line guidance gives Grandista an approximate height of 25–28 cm, while a separate Grandista and Master Stars Piece comparison reports 19–28 cm for Grandista and gives conflicting broader descriptions elsewhere in the same article. Neither range establishes a universal dimension or scale for every release. Treat them as rough line-level context, not a promise about a particular figure.
For the model you are considering, check its product listing for dimensions and inspect photos for the base, hair, effects, and extended limbs. Height alone does not tell you how much shelf depth or width the pose will use. Banpresto’s line guide describes Grandista as approximately 25–28 cm tall (Banpresto.es line guide); the separate comparison’s internally inconsistent measurements deserve extra caution (Grandista and Master Stars Piece comparison).

What does Grandista offer as a display figure?
Grandista is positioned as a large display line, and the cited comparison describes it as having no articulation. It is therefore a better fit for a fixed character pose than for repeated pose changes. Banpresto products are part of Bandai Spirits’ prize-product business, associated with amusement facilities and crane-game or prize channels; the company profile lists Grandista among its brands (BANDAI SPIRITS corporate profile).

A large static figure can make a strong shelf focal point, but the line name alone does not establish a specific release’s paint quality, accessories, or exact size. Check the individual product record and listing.
How does Grandista compare with other figure lines?
| Line | Useful comparison | What to verify for the exact release |
|---|---|---|
| Ichibansho / Masterlise | A size-oriented comparison for static display. Banpresto’s guide places Masterlise within the Ichibansho family and describes it as similar in size to Grandista, while distinguishing it as a different family. | Exact height and footprint; “similar in size” does not mean identical dimensions. |
| S.H.Figuarts | Consider it when articulation and pose customization matter more than a large, fixed shelf pose. | Joint articulation, included parts, and the dimensions of the specific model. The sources available here do not establish a reliable line-wide size comparison. |
| MAXIMATIC | Banpresto’s guide emphasizes dramatic action poses and sculpted movement, making it relevant when silhouette and motion are priorities. | Pose width and depth, effects, base, and how its actual dimensions compare with nearby figures. A line label or retailer description cannot guarantee a matching scale. |
| Master Stars Piece (MSP) | A legacy Banpresto comparison that can provide context for older figures. | Exact model measurements. The comparison source gives inconsistent broad size descriptions, so do not use its range as a dependable sizing rule. |
The distinctions above describe broad line positioning, not guaranteed specifications for every character or release. Banpresto’s guide covers Masterlise and MAXIMATIC, while its separate article compares Grandista with MSP (Banpresto.es line guide; Grandista and Master Stars Piece comparison). For S.H.Figuarts, verify the individual product’s features rather than inferring dimensions from the line name.

What should you check before buying?
- Confirm the exact release. Match the character, version, paint variant, and product name in the listing to the figure you intend to buy. Similar line names do not ensure identical parts or specifications.
- Measure the display space. Compare the listed height with the base dimensions and the pose’s width and depth. Leave room for hair, weapons, effects, or other projecting details.
- Choose the right display type. Pick a static statue-style figure for a fixed presentation; choose an articulated figure if you want to change poses or stage photography.
- Check included parts and the product record. Confirm the base and accessories shown or named for that specific release rather than assuming they come with every figure in the line.
- Verify the seller and item condition. For older or prize-channel products, check that the listing identifies the correct item and clearly describes its condition and packaging. Do not treat a line name as proof of authenticity.
- Account for region and timing. Bandai Spirits warns that scheduled appearance dates can differ by region and store, and that products may leave production or sale over time. Its official record for Demon Slayer Grandista-TOMIOKA GIYU- lists an appearance date of January 27, 2026, but that date does not establish current stock at any retailer (BANDAI SPIRITS product information).
Which line should you choose?
- Choose Grandista if the specific character release, large display presence, and fixed pose suit your shelf.
- Compare Ichibansho/Masterlise if you want another static display option that Banpresto describes as similar in size, while still checking exact measurements.
- Compare S.H.Figuarts if articulation and pose changes are more important than matching Grandista’s shelf presence.
- Compare MAXIMATIC if you prefer action-oriented sculpting, and check the actual footprint before planning a group display.
- Consider MSP as a legacy option only with model-specific dimensions in hand.
There is no supported basis here for ranking these lines by universal paint quality, resale value, or overall value. The useful comparison is between the exact releases you can actually obtain and the display job each one needs to do.
