Compare the agenda, speakers, learning format, and practical access—not just whether an event calls itself an “AI visibility” conference. AI-search sessions may be part of a broader SEO programme, while a local search event may offer a different mix of topics and formats. The best fit depends on what you need to learn and how you want to learn it.

How do I compare AI visibility conferences with SEO conferences?

Start with the published programme. “AI visibility” is a useful topic lens, but it does not by itself establish that an event is devoted exclusively to AI search. For example, brightonSEO’s October 2026 UK programme includes AI-search material alongside broader subjects such as SEO, content, and digital PR. Read individual session titles and descriptions to see how much of the event addresses your priorities.

The examples below illustrate different kinds of programming; they are not a complete global event calendar or a census of AI-visibility-only conferences.

Which SEO conference has sessions on AI search?

brightonSEO UK

The official page lists the UK event for October 8–9, 2026, and describes a broad search-marketing conference with talks covering SEO, AI search, content, digital PR, and more. It also describes training, MeasureFest, roundtables, meet-ups, and networking. Check the current programme and event details on brightonSEO’s official page before making plans, since dates and schedules can change.

brightonSEO describes itself as “The world’s biggest search conference.” That is the organizer’s own event positioning, not an independently verified ranking.

Google Search Central Live

Google Search Central calls Search Central Live “our main event series that focuses on bringing Search talks to your location in your language.” Its event directory lets you inspect each listed event’s topics, speakers, date, location, and language. Use those details to judge whether a particular local event fits; the directory is Google’s own listing, not a comprehensive directory of every search conference.

What should I look for in a search marketing event agenda?

Translate your goal into session-level evidence. A broad label can conceal a programme that is either highly relevant or only tangential to what you need. Before registering, check whether the listed sessions map to concrete learning objectives.

  • AI search measurement: Look for sessions that explicitly address how to assess visibility or performance in AI-search contexts.
  • Technical SEO: Check for subjects relevant to the technical work you need to improve.
  • Content strategy: Identify sessions that match your content planning and production responsibilities.
  • Analytics: Look for measurement topics that support the decisions you need to make.
  • Paid search: If paid search is part of your remit, confirm it appears in the programme rather than assuming a search-marketing event covers it.

These are shortlist criteria, not promises about what any particular event will teach. Organizers’ pages describe planned programming; they do not independently measure learning or establish which conference produces better career or business results.

How should a team choose between events?

  1. Write down the learning objectives. Choose specific needs—such as AI-search measurement, technical SEO, content strategy, analytics, or paid search—before comparing ticket options.
  2. Match agenda items to those objectives. Use session titles and descriptions, not the event’s name, to assess fit.
  3. Review speakers and formats. Check the event-specific speaker list and whether the relevant material is presented as talks, training, roundtables, or local sessions.
  4. Compare logistics. Confirm the current date, venue or location, and language details on the organizer’s page.
  5. Choose the programme that best fits the team’s priorities. If a key objective is absent from the published schedule, do not assume it will be covered simply because the event is about search.
