To confirm a OnePlus sale discount, apply the offer in the store for your country and check the payable total immediately before submitting the order. Do not assume a code worked just because it was entered. The checkout rules and offers can differ by market; the specific checkout limits and trade-in details below are from OnePlus’s US store, with some trade-in terms also covering Canada.
Check the offer and cart before checkout
- Open the OnePlus store for your market and select the product you intend to buy.
- Review the product page and cart for the sale price, any included gift, and any discount displayed for that market. No current sale amount or active promotion is established here, so rely on the offer shown in your own store.
- Note the cart total before applying any code. This gives you a reference point for checking whether the discount changes the amount due.
Apply a voucher or gift code in the US checkout
In the US checkout, OnePlus states that “You can only use one voucher per order” and “You can only use one gift code per order” (OnePlus checkout). These are separate limits, but the checkout information does not establish that every voucher and gift code can be combined in every transaction. Use only options presented as available for your order, then trust the displayed total rather than assuming codes stack.
- Open the voucher options shown in checkout and select the applicable voucher, if one is available.
- If you have a gift code, enter it in the gift-code field shown in checkout, subject to the one-code-per-order limit.
- Review any account-balance or token warning before continuing. The checkout warns that extra value may not remain in your OnePlus account if you proceed; check the warning shown for your specific order.
- Compare the updated payable total with the cart amount. If the eligible price or credit is not reflected, do not treat the code as applied.
Verify the final amount before placing the order
Before submitting, inspect the final order summary and confirm that it shows the expected discount and the amount you will pay now. A successfully entered code is not proof of a reduced total. If the price has not changed, check whether the offer is valid for that product and market, whether checkout accepted the code, and whether another limit or condition is displayed. Do not place the order on the assumption that a later adjustment will occur unless the offer’s terms explicitly say so.
Understand how OnePlus trade-in affects the amount due
Trade-in value may reduce the amount due immediately, or it may arrive later. The options OnePlus presents for the specific product and order determine which route is available. The US and Canada trade-in terms say instant credit is not available for every product or scenario (OnePlus US/Canada trade-in terms).

Get Paid Later
Under the US FAQ’s Get Paid Later route, you pay the full amount for the new phone first. After OnePlus confirms the old device’s trade-in value, it says you receive that value plus any applicable bonus. The FAQ instructs customers to ship the old device within 21 days of receiving the successful trade-in order email (OnePlus US trade-in FAQ). Treat the estimated trade-in amount as conditional until inspection and confirmation; it is not an immediate checkout reduction on this route.
Instant credit and trade-in coupons
If checkout offers Trade-in Instant Credit, check that the credit appears in the order total before paying. OnePlus’s FAQ also describes cases where a cash coupon may be issued, including when the confirmed trade-in value exceeds the purchase amount or changes after inspection. For the US and Canada cases described in that FAQ, the coupon is valid for 12 months, can be redeemed in OnePlus online stores or the OnePlus Store App, and only one cash coupon can be applied per purchase. Check the current terms for your store before relying on these conditions; a coupon issued later is not the same as a discount already deducted from today’s payment.

Check eligibility for other OnePlus discount programs
The OnePlus US store lists Student Discount, Graduates Discount, Employee Discount, and Affiliates programs (OnePlus US store). That listing establishes the program categories, not current discount amounts, enrollment or verification requirements, availability, or whether a program discount combines with a sale, voucher, or gift code. Open the relevant program’s current terms and then confirm the final amount in checkout. Do not assume eligibility or stacking based on the program name alone.

What to do if the expected discount is missing
- Confirm that you are shopping in the correct country’s OnePlus store and that the offer is displayed for your product.
- Recheck the code and any eligibility or product conditions shown with the offer.
- Check whether checkout reports that a code was rejected or another voucher is already applied.
- For trade-in, distinguish an instant credit shown in the current total from a later value or coupon that depends on device inspection.
- Do not submit the order until the payable amount matches what you are willing to pay now.
Offers, program conditions, and checkout availability can change. The order summary immediately before submission is the practical check of what the specific transaction will charge.
