Choose the brew size for the amount you want and the vessel you will use; choose Classic or Rich for hot coffee, or Over Ice for iced coffee. The buttons and available sizes vary by model, so check the model number on your machine first. On the CFP101, grounds and pods have different size menus.
Which brew size should you choose?
Match the selected size to both the amount of coffee you want and the cup or carafe beneath the brew basket. A size label is not necessarily a universal cup measurement: use the chart in the manual for your exact model rather than assuming what a label means.
For the CFP101, SharkNinja lists nine size settings for grounds, from Small Cup through Full Carafe, and four settings for pods: 6, 8, 10, and 12 oz. These are separate menus for the two brewing modes. Confirm that your machine is the CFP101 before relying on those options; other DualBrew models may differ.

What is the difference between Classic, Rich, and Over Ice?

| Over Ice | Iced coffee | Fill the serving vessel to the top with ice before brewing. Some melting is normal; the coffee is brewed into the ice-filled vessel. |
These descriptions are qualitative. The manual does not provide a numeric strength percentage, a coffee-to-water ratio, or a caffeine comparison between Classic and Rich. Rich should not be treated as a stated caffeine boost.

How do you select a size and brew style?
- Check the model number on the machine and consult its manual if you are unsure which features it has.
- Select the brewing mode and size you intend to use. On the CFP101, grounds and pods have different size choices.
- Place the empty cup, serving vessel, or carafe beneath the brew basket. For Over Ice, fill the vessel to the top with ice first.
- Select the brew style: Classic, Rich, or Over Ice, as available on your model.
Does every Ninja DualBrew have Specialty?
No. The CFP101 product listing identifies Classic, Rich, and Over Ice. The CFP301 DualBrew Pro listing also describes a Specialty setting for super-rich coffee concentrate used in coffeehouse-style drinks. Do not assume Specialty is available on your machine or follow CFP301-specific directions for another model; check the exact model’s current manual.

- Want a balanced hot cup? Start with Classic.
- Want a more intense-tasting hot coffee? Choose Rich, especially if adding milk, cream, or flavoring.
