There is no single service that carries every WNBA game in the United States in 2026. Games are split among national networks and streaming apps, local and regional outlets, and WNBA League Pass. Choose based on the games you want to watch and where you live: check the schedule and local availability first, then subscribe to the services that actually carry those games. League Pass fills gaps for many out-of-market games, but it does not show nationally or locally blacked-out games live.
Start with the games you want to watch
Before comparing streaming bundles, decide whether you primarily follow one local team, want games from around the league, or mainly watch national matchups. Those priorities point to different coverage: local games may be on a regional network, local station, or streaming partner, while nationally distributed games are spread across several services.
The WNBA announced 216 partner-distributed games in its 330-game 2026 regular season. Each of the league’s 15 teams plays 44 regular-season games. Those figures describe the season, not a single service’s coverage: the remaining games and local presentations make checking individual listings important. The WNBA’s 2026 schedule announcement is the starting point for identifying where games are carried.

Use the WNBA schedule to see which platform is listed for each game, then verify that the channel or app is available where you live. The WNBA says blackout status is tied to your current location and uses ZIP code to determine relevant local teams. Its League Pass page provides a ZIP lookup, and its blackout guidance explains how local and national restrictions affect viewing.

Do not assume a live TV bundle carries every channel you need just because it includes several major networks. Channel lineups vary by location and package, and current local or regional carriage must be confirmed for your address.
Use the 2026 rights map to identify the right services
The WNBA’s announced 2026 U.S. national slate is distributed across broadcast networks, cable channels, and streaming services. Counts below are for the 2026 season; they are not a promise that any one service covers every game.

| Partner or channel | 2026 WNBA games announced |
|---|---|
| ABC and ESPN | 30 total: 13 on ABC and 17 on ESPN |
| NBC | 7 |
| Peacock and NBCSN | 15; Peacock also carries every Finals game, which is also telecast on NBC or USA Network |
| Prime Video | 30 regular-season games, plus the exclusive Commissioner’s Cup championship game (31 including that championship) |
| CBS and Paramount+ | 20 |
| ION | 50 |
| USA Network | 48 |
| NBA TV | 15 |
These are the partner counts in the WNBA’s April 22, 2026 schedule announcement. Match the listed channel or app to your actual game list, and separately check local and regional broadcasts. A bundle that works for one fan may leave another fan’s local games or desired national telecasts uncovered.
Understand what League Pass does—and does not—cover
League Pass is designed for out-of-market live games and on-demand viewing. The WNBA describes the service as including full-game replays, highlights, classic games, and live stats. It can be a useful addition when you want games outside your local market, but it is not a universal live-game pass.
Rank #3
- Wilson WNBA All Team Basketball - Size 6 - 28.5"
- PERFORMANCE COVER: Outdoor cover designed for grip on rough surfaces
- AIR RETENTION: Inflation retention lining creates longer-lasting air retention
- MATCHING LOGO & COLORS: Matching Wilson logo and team colors, featuring logos from all 12 WNBA teams
- INTERMEDIATE SIZE: This 28.5" basketball is the perfect size to honor all WNBA teams
In the United States, games televised nationally on the listed broadcast or streaming partners are blacked out live on League Pass. Local team games carried by a local outlet are also blacked out live. According to the WNBA, nationally blacked-out games become available on demand at 6 a.m. ET the next day; locally blacked-out games become available shortly after the game ends. Blackout lists can change, so check the schedule and location-specific availability for the games you care about.
The official League Pass page listed an annual price of $39.99 when accessed; confirm the current price and terms before subscribing. That price does not buy live access to games blacked out in your location.

Choose the right purchase and viewing app
If you buy League Pass through Amazon Prime, the WNBA says you can watch it only through Amazon Prime’s apps and website. That subscription cannot be used to sign in to WNBA.com or the WNBA App. Choose the purchase route that fits the app and TV interface you intend to use. WNBA blackout and access details and the League Pass product page are useful checks before checkout.
Consider ION over the air where reception permits
Scripps says ION is available through pay television, connected TV platforms, free ad-supported streaming services, and over-the-air broadcasts. Its 2026 release describes 50 regular-season WNBA games on ION. If you can receive ION locally over the air, that may provide a lower-cost way to watch those games without a pay-TV package. Reception and availability vary by market, and ION’s slate does not cover games on other partners. Check Scripps’ 2026 ION announcement and your local signal availability.
Compare options against your actual game list
Once you have the games and their listed platforms, compare the options you can actually get at your address. Avoid comparing a League Pass price with a live TV bundle as if they provide equivalent coverage; one may fill out-of-market and replay needs while the other carries particular linear channels.
- Must-watch coverage: Identify which exact games each service carries, including local team telecasts and national exclusives.
- Local channel availability: Confirm that ABC, CBS, NBC, ION, and any relevant regional or local outlet are available at your address and in the package you are considering.
- Blackouts and replay timing: Decide whether next-day or postgame access is acceptable for games League Pass blacks out live.
- Total cost and overlap: Add current package prices and any direct streaming subscriptions you need, and account for channels or games duplicated across services. Prices and lineups can change.
- Device and interface: Check that you can use the service on your TV or preferred device, and remember that a Prime-billed League Pass account stays within Prime’s apps and website.
- Free reception: If you are considering over-the-air ION, confirm both local reception and that the games you want are on ION.
Check that your TV can run the app
The WNBA Help Center lists Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and Android TV among the supported places to purchase League Pass through the WNBA App or Channel in select markets. Check the WNBA’s supported-device information for the latest details. A streaming device such as Roku can provide access to an app on a compatible TV, but it does not supply subscriptions, channel rights, or an exception to blackout rules.
Quick Recap
A practical way to make the choice
- List your must-watch teams and games. Separate local-team games from out-of-market games and national matchups.
- Check the WNBA schedule. Note the platform shown for each game, then verify local availability by ZIP code and the relevant channel lineup.
- Select coverage for live games first. Choose services carrying the local and national games you need; do not treat League Pass as live coverage for blacked-out games.
- Add League Pass if it fills a real gap. It is most useful for out-of-market games and on-demand access when its live restrictions fit your viewing habits.
- Compare the full cost and setup. Confirm current prices, app compatibility, and whether any subscription is billed through a platform that limits where you can watch.
