There is no confirmed GTA VI PC spec to buy against: Rockstar’s official pages list the game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a November 19, 2026 release date, but do not publish PC system requirements or confirm a PC version. Choose a gaming PC for the games and display you can actually plan for: set your resolution and frame-rate goal, compare the graphics card and processor as a pair, and check the complete system rather than one headline component.
What is known about GTA VI on PC?
Rockstar’s official GTA VI page lists a November 19, 2026 release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and highlights PlayStation 5 as “Plays Best On.” Rockstar Customer Support’s platforms, editions, and versions page, last updated August 18, 2026, likewise describes pre-orders for those two console platforms.
Neither reviewed official page gives GTA VI PC system requirements or confirms a PC version. That means there is no evidence-based PC specification to recommend specifically for this game today; it does not establish what Rockstar may announce later. Console hardware cannot be translated into a reliable PC parts list, either. Recheck Rockstar’s official pages before making a purchase based on a future PC release.

Decide what monitor you intend to use and what experience you want before comparing PCs. A 1080p, 1440p, or 4K display changes the graphics workload, as does your desired frame rate and graphics quality. Microsoft’s Windows gaming PC guidance recommends matching the GPU to display resolution and explains that GPU capability affects visual quality and frame rate.
#1 Best Overall
- Fearless ROG Design – The G700’s dual-glass chassis showcases iconic ROG design with the ROG Slash and Aura Sync RGB lighting. Its 58L capacity supports triple-slot GPUs.
- Unstoppable Power – Equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 7 265F processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 1TB SSD PCIe 4.0 storage for seamless gaming and multitasking.
- Optimized Thermals – Stay cool with a quad-fan system, while dust filters and efficient airflow ensure long-term reliability.
- Advanced Connectivity – Game without lag with 2.5Gbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, and versatile ports. Dolby Atmos audio and AI noise cancellation enhance sound and communication.
- Ready for Upgrades – Designed with tool-less access, easily swap out components, ensuring future-proof performance for years to come.
- Resolution: Choose the monitor resolution you expect to play at, rather than buying a system based on a generic “gaming” label.
- Frame rate and settings: Decide whether you prioritize smoother motion, higher visual settings, or a balance. These goals affect what GPU capability to look for.
- Monitor fit: Consider the monitor as part of the setup. A PC’s value depends on whether it can serve the display you plan to use, not simply on the GPU name.
For a demanding game, research how a candidate GPU performs at your intended resolution, frame rate, and settings. The cited guidance does not establish a universal GPU tier, numerical target, or GTA VI-specific performance level.
Evaluate the GPU and CPU together
The graphics card is central to rendering game visuals, but it is not the whole performance story. Intel’s gaming PC build guide notes that both CPU and GPU affect in-game FPS, particularly in demanding, graphics-heavy games. Compare the actual processor and graphics card configuration as a system, and look for performance information relevant to your chosen games, resolution, and settings.

A prebuilt’s headline CPU or GPU name does not establish how well the complete PC will meet your goals. Check the listed parts and configuration, and avoid treating a component label by itself as a performance guarantee. No benchmark results or GTA VI-specific component recommendations are established here.
Check storage and the full configuration
Microsoft recommends an SSD for Windows and games, and Intel likewise describes an SSD as a typical gaming-PC choice. Treat that as general buying guidance, not a stated GTA VI requirement: the reviewed official GTA VI pages do not specify required storage type or capacity.

Before comparing two systems, review the entire parts list and the terms that affect ownership. Depending on what the seller provides, useful items to compare include:
- CPU and GPU models, plus the exact configuration rather than a family name alone.
- RAM and storage type and capacity.
- Price for the complete system, not just its most prominent component.
- Warranty and support terms.
- Physical size, cooling, and noise, especially if the PC will sit in a shared or compact space.
Weigh budget and future upgrades
Set a budget for the complete setup and compare systems that meet your display and game needs within it. The reviewed sources do not establish a GTA VI-specific price target or PC tier, so avoid paying extra based on claims that a particular configuration is required for this title.

- Cool While Gaming: In conjunction with an ARGB fan Air Cooler, the Codex R2 features four system cooling fans; three in the front and one in the rear to pull in cool air and push heat out of the PC.
- Turn on the Bright Lights: With the built-in RGB lighting, take your gaming experience to the next level by pressing the MSI LED button to cycle through lighting options. Customize lighting even further with MSI Center software.
If you want the option to upgrade later, check the specific desktop rather than assuming parts can be swapped. Case space, power supply, motherboard, cooling, and warranty terms can all affect whether a future memory, storage, or graphics upgrade is practical. No upgrade compatibility is established for any specific PC here; confirm it in the manufacturer’s configuration and documentation.

A practical comparison checklist
- Write down your target: monitor resolution, desired frame rate, and preferred graphics settings for the games you can play or plan to play.
- Compare GPU and CPU as a pair: seek relevant performance evidence for that target instead of relying on a single component name.
- Inspect the full parts list: verify RAM, SSD configuration, and the complete system details.
- Compare total ownership fit: price, warranty and support, physical size, cooling, and noise.
- Check upgrade claims: confirm compatibility and warranty implications for the exact desktop before assuming future upgrades will work.
- Keep GTA VI uncertainty separate: buy for your current, known needs unless and until Rockstar publishes PC platform and requirements information.
