If you mean the track arriving with Gran Turismo 7’s October 2026 Spec IV update, it is Sportsland SUGO. For the Singapore World Series Nations Cup sprint at SUGO, the published choice is a Dallara SF23 Super Formula / Toyota ’23 on Racing Hard tyres. For ordinary play, there is no official fastest-car verdict: compare eligible cars under the same conditions and choose the one you can drive consistently through SUGO’s elevation changes and corners.
Which new Gran Turismo 7 track are you choosing for?
Sony announced Sportsland SUGO for the October 2026 Spec IV update, scheduled for October 15. Autumn Ring is also coming to GT7, but in the separate December 2026 update. So the October “new track” is SUGO, not Autumn Ring. Sony’s Spec IV announcement and its September 3 update details identify the two circuits and their timing.

Your best choice depends on whether you are entering the scheduled Singapore event or selecting a car for open play. An event’s prescribed car and tyres are rules for that race, not proof that the car is universally quickest around SUGO.
For the Singapore Nations Cup sprint, follow the event rules
The published SUGO Nations Cup format specifies the Dallara SF23 Super Formula / Toyota ’23 category and Racing Hard tyres for both qualifying and the sprint. Qualifying is one lap; the sprint is 15 laps. The event details list no required tyre change. These are the rules for this Singapore World Series event, not a general recommendation for every SUGO race.

Check the official Singapore race details before competing, since event specifications can change. The page also lists SUGO as 3,586 m long, with 13 corners, a 69.8 m elevation difference and a 704.5 m longest straight. Those figures describe the circuit; they do not establish which car is fastest.
For open play, choose by controlled comparison
No official source establishes a tested SUGO car ranking or a universal best car. Rather than treating the event selection as a performance result, compare cars you own in the same session conditions. SUGO is described by Sony as technical, with dramatic elevation changes; Kazunori Yamauchi also highlights its flowing layout and Dunlop bridge. Those characteristics make consistency and confidence useful selection criteria, not a substitute for lap-time testing. Yamauchi’s circuit description provides that context.

- Check the event restrictions first. Confirm the permitted category, PP cap, drivetrain and tyre rules. A rule can disqualify an otherwise preferred car.
- Keep the comparison consistent. Use the same tyres, tuning approach, assists, fuel and track conditions for each eligible car, and give each enough laps to settle into a repeatable pace.
- Judge more than one fast lap. Compare lap-to-lap consistency, braking confidence over the elevation changes and how comfortably you can link the corner sequence. These are practical criteria inferred from the circuit description, not published test results.
- Pick the car you can repeat laps in. If two options are close, confidence and fewer mistakes may matter more in your session than a single standout lap.
Use the official car guide as an exploration method, not a SUGO ranking
Sony’s Gran Turismo 7 1.71 guide illustrates matching a car’s character to a driving experience: it points to the Caterham Seven Superlight R500 for a technical track and the Hyundai IONIQ 6 N for a fast circuit.
