Vivo has not published a complete, model-by-model OriginOS 7 upgrade list for existing phones. To check your own phone, confirm its model and region, look for an official local announcement, then check Settings > System update. If an update appears, back up your data and install it using the phone’s built-in updater over Wi-Fi.
Which Vivo phones are confirmed for OriginOS 7?
In its September 24, 2026 global announcement, vivo said OriginOS 7 would be available on the X500 Series and new X Fold and V Series devices. The announcement does not provide a complete list of existing phones eligible to upgrade, and it does not establish that every model in those families—or any particular older model—will receive the update. It also says availability can vary by device, software version, and market.
Vivo’s OriginOS 7 feature page likewise qualifies some features as available only on select models, devices, countries, or regions. Feature support is not proof that a phone is eligible for the operating-system upgrade.

Find your exact Vivo model and region
-
On your phone, open Settings > About phone. Check the model name and model number. The menu labels can differ by model and software version.
-
If available, open About phone > Software information to see the installed software version. Vivo’s user manual identifies this area as a place to view model and software details.
-
Use vivo’s official website or support channel for the country where the phone is being used. A global family announcement, a notice for another country, or a community discussion does not establish local eligibility. For example, vivo’s global announcement said further Philippines availability details would be shared through official channels.

-
If the updater says no update is available, that means no update is currently offered to the device through that check. It does not prove that OriginOS 7 will never arrive; a future release may be announced or offered later.

Use Wi-Fi. Vivo’s manual warns that system updates may use a large amount of data.
-
Do not install an unverified package. Avoid unofficial ROMs or system files from posts or third-party sources. Vivo warns that unauthorized ROM flashing or system updates may create security risks.
The manual also describes a Local upgrade option for an existing package. That is not a general alternative to the official OTA: use a local package only when vivo has supplied an appropriate official package for your exact device and instructions. Do not force a package intended for another region or model.
If OriginOS 7 is missing or eligibility is unclear
Check vivo’s official regional announcements and contact local vivo support with your model number and software version. If no local eligibility notice or update offer exists, wait for official confirmation rather than trying to bypass the rollout. Vivo has not published a complete legacy-device roster or per-model schedule in the cited announcement, so an exact release date cannot be confirmed from it.
