Compare your Windows version, processor, graphics card and its video memory, and installed RAM with the game’s official Steam requirements. The minimum tier is Steam’s baseline for trying the game; its stated target is “Fastest 1080p @ 30 FPS.” Steam’s recommended tier is associated with “Beautiful 1080p @ 60 FPS.” Those notes are store-listed targets, not guaranteed results for every PC.
Official PC requirements for Shoresy: Legends of the North
The figures below are from the game’s official Steam listing, checked October 7, 2026. Compare the whole configuration rather than judging by RAM or one other component alone.

The store’s minimum and recommended hardware are alternatives within each component category: for example, a listed AMD processor is an alternative to the listed Intel processor. The notes are Steam’s descriptions of the tiers, not independent benchmark guarantees.

Find your PC’s Windows version and processor
- Open Settings > System > About. Check the Windows edition/version and the processor in the device specifications.
- For another view, open System Information from Windows search. It reports operating-system and processor details.
- Compare the processor model and Windows version with the corresponding Steam requirement. Do not assume that a PC passes because its processor name looks newer; compare the full model and check the other components too.
Check installed RAM and graphics card
- Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, then select Performance.
- Select Memory to see installed RAM. The listing specifies 8 GB for both tiers.
- Select GPU to see the graphics processor model and memory details. Compare the exact GPU model and dedicated video memory with one of the listed cards in the appropriate tier.
System memory and graphics memory are different specifications. Having 8 GB of RAM does not compensate for a GPU below the listed options, and a capable GPU does not compensate for an underpowered processor.

Decide whether your PC meets a tier
- Minimum: Treat this as the store’s baseline for attempting to run the game. It is not a promise that every PC meeting the list will deliver the stated 1080p/30 FPS note.
- Recommended: This is the stronger target, which Steam associates with its 1080p/60 FPS note.
- Mixed results: If your PC falls between the two tiers—for example, it has a recommended-tier GPU but a processor below the minimum—do not call it a pass based on the stronger part. Check every listed component; the page does not establish how mixed configurations will perform.
- Not sure: Record the exact OS, CPU, GPU model and dedicated video memory, and RAM amount, then compare those details against the table. Without your PC’s specifications, it is not possible to determine whether that specific computer qualifies.
Check storage before installing
Steam’s minimum requirements currently show “2 MB available space,” but that figure is implausibly small for a modern game and should not be used as an installation estimate. The listing does not give a separate recommended storage figure. Check the current download and installed-size information on the Steam page before installing rather than planning around 2 MB.

These are the Windows PC requirements shown on Steam for Shoresy: Legends of the North, released November 22, 2025. Steam describes a single-player story mode and local multiplayer Shinny Mode, with Steam Remote Play available for online play; those features do not change the published hardware comparison.
