For GTA 6’s one-month GTA+ pre-order offer, the account that places the qualifying order matters: PlayStation says the subscription is non-transferable and can only be redeemed on the pre-ordering account, while Xbox limits the offer to one redemption per Platform Account. Code eligibility also depends on the platform account’s country or region. Check the exact local store listing and offer terms before buying; rules for the GTA+ month do not automatically establish how every game or in-game entitlement is shared.
Check the buyer account and its local store first
Start with the PlayStation or Xbox account that should receive the offer. The US PlayStation terms tie the GTA+ month to the account used to pre-order. Xbox describes its offer as limited to one redemption per Platform Account. These are account rules for the subscription offer, not a blanket statement about sharing every GTA 6 edition benefit.
- Choose the account that will place the purchase. If you want the GTA+ month on a particular account, use that account to pre-order. PlayStation’s US terms say the month cannot be transferred to another account.
- Open that account’s country-specific store listing. Rockstar publishes regional availability and says additional countries may be added subject to platform policies, regulations, and age ratings. An offer visible in another country’s store may not apply to your account.
- Match the code to the account region. Rockstar says GTA 6 code redemption restrictions are based on the region associated with the platform account and recommends buying from a retailer in that country. Its support page lists country groupings for PlayStation codes and says Xbox codes are not region-locked. The recommendation to buy locally still helps avoid activation issues.
See Rockstar’s GTA VI platforms, editions, and versions support page and its country-specific GTA+ availability information for the current listing and restrictions.

The purchase format can change which benefits are stated as included. Rockstar lists the Vintage Vice City Pack with physical and digital pre-orders. Its support page describes the physical Standard Edition as a box containing a digital download code, not a disc, and lists the pack with that pre-order. Rockstar’s edition overview lists the pack and a month of GTA+ for digital pre-orders and purchases of either edition before November 20, 2026, while its separate physical pre-order description does not mention GTA+.

- STUNNING VISUALS — Enhanced levels of fidelity and performance with new graphics modes featuring up to 4K resolution, up to 60 frames per second, HDR options, ray tracing, improved texture quality, and more
- FASTER LOADING — Quicker access to the action as the world of Los Santos and Blaine County load in faster than ever before.
- ADAPTIVE TRIGGERS AND HAPTIC FEEDBACK — Feel every moment through the DualSense controller, from directional damage to weather effects, rough road surfaces to explosions, and more.
- TEMPEST 3D AUDIO — Hear the sounds of the world with pinpoint precision: the throttle of a stolen supercar, the rattle of neighbouring gunfire, the roar of a helicopter overhead, and more.
- Please note that although this game is Region Free or Region Unlocked and will work on all systems, this is the European version and may differ from the local version in age rating, labeling or instructions.
For that reason, do not assume a physical code-in-box purchase qualifies for a digital subscription offer. Read the live offer terms on the platform store or retailer page for the exact edition and format you intend to buy. Rockstar’s edition overview is at rockstargames.com/VI.

Keep Rockstar account-linking rewards separate
Linking a Rockstar Games account is not a substitute for buying through the qualifying platform account. Rockstar’s account-linking FAQ describes rewards for GTA Online in GTA V, including a one-time GTA$500,000 reward for eligible PlayStation or Xbox links and vehicles or weapons. It does not establish eligibility for GTA 6’s pre-order bonus. See Rockstar’s linked-account rewards FAQ.

What if another household account will play?
PlayStation’s stated GTA+ terms make the subscription non-transferable and tie redemption to the pre-ordering account, but the cited offer does not fully explain whether console sharing gives another household account access to the month or to every GTA 6 edition entitlement. Xbox’s one-redemption wording likewise does not answer every sharing setup. If another account will play, check PlayStation or Xbox support for the exact console-sharing arrangement rather than assuming the bonus transfers.
