To change swipe actions in Apple Mail, open Settings > Apps > Mail > Swipe Options, below Message List. Choose the actions you want, then use a slow left drag to reveal the menu, a full left swipe to perform the rightmost action, or a right swipe to reveal another action. Nearby Mail settings can also adjust message previews, conversation grouping, and which mailboxes appear.
How do I change Mail swipe options on iPhone?

- Under Message List, tap Swipe Options.
- Choose the actions you want available for swiping. The labels and available options can vary by iOS version or region.

How do I change the swipe to delete setting?
Go to Settings > Apps > Mail > Swipe Options and check the left- and right-swipe actions available there. These controls determine which actions appear in the swipe menu; a full left swipe performs the rightmost action. If the action you want is not shown, the available choices may differ on your iOS version or in your region.

Which inbox settings make messages easier to scan?

In Settings > Apps > Mail, find Preview under Message List. Mail shows two lines by default; you can increase the preview to as many as five lines. Apple Support: Check your email in Mail on iPhone.

In the same Mail settings area, Organize by Thread controls conversation grouping. Show To/Cc Labels controls whether those labels appear in the inbox. These are separate preferences, so you can change either without changing swipe actions.

How do I choose which mailboxes appear?

How do I see all messages in my iPhone inbox?
If Mail is showing inbox categories, swipe left across the category tabs to reveal All Mail. Alternatively, tap More > List View. Which setting should I change?
- To change what a gesture does, use Swipe Options.
- To see more message text in the list, increase Preview.
- To group messages into conversations, adjust Organize by Thread.
- To change visible mailboxes or their order, use Edit in the Mailboxes list.
- To leave a category-specific inbox view, open All Mail or switch to List View.
