To stop an Apple TV+ free trial from renewing, cancel it at least 24 hours before the trial ends. For a paid subscription, cancel through the company that bills you: Apple-billed subscriptions can be managed in Apple Account settings or on the Apple TV website, while subscriptions billed through Google Play, Amazon, a carrier, or another provider must be canceled through that biller.
First, identify who bills your Apple TV+ subscription
The billing company determines where cancellation must happen. If you subscribed through Apple, use Apple’s subscription settings. If another provider bills you, cancel through that provider instead. Apple’s general cancellation instructions explain how to check a receipt or payment statement if you are unsure: Apple Support: Cancel a subscription from Apple.
- Apple bills you: Cancel through Apple Account subscription settings or the Apple TV website.
- Google Play bills you: Cancel through the Google Play app or website associated with the subscription.
- Amazon bills you: Cancel through Amazon.
- A carrier or another provider bills you: Contact that provider and use its cancellation process; Apple’s instructions do not give a separate step-by-step route for those providers.
For a free trial, do not wait until its final day: Apple says to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends if you do not want it to renew.

- Open Settings.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select the Apple TV+ subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts.
If there is no Cancel button, or the subscription page shows an expiration message, Apple says the subscription is already canceled. Apple’s general instructions also cover subscription cancellation through Apple Account settings on Mac, Windows, and Android; the available route depends on your device and billing provider. Cancel an Apple-billed subscription on the Apple TV website
- Go to tv.apple.com and sign in if asked.
- Open the account menu, then choose Settings.
- Find Subscriptions, choose Manage, and cancel the subscription.
Apple’s Apple TV-specific instructions are published on a Polish regional support page. The cancellation route above follows that guidance; the page or interface labels may differ by language or region: Apple TV subscription cancellation instructions.
Cancel a subscription billed through Google Play or Amazon
Google Play
Use the Google Play app or website connected to the subscription and cancel it there. If you cannot find the subscription in the Google Play account you are signed into, check whether another account or provider was used to subscribe.

Amazon
If Amazon bills the subscription, cancel it through Amazon. Canceling through Apple will not replace the cancellation process for a subscription billed by Amazon. The same principle applies to a carrier or other provider: use the biller’s own account or support channel.

If Apple TV+ does not appear in your subscriptions
A missing subscription can mean you are signed into a different account or that another company bills you. Use the receipt or payment record to identify the account and biller before trying more cancellation routes.
- Search your email for an Apple receipt or invoice related to the subscription.
- Check which Apple Account is named on the receipt. If it is an account you use, sign in with that account and check its subscriptions.
- If the receipt belongs to a family member, Apple says that account holder must cancel the subscription.
- If you cannot find an Apple receipt, check your bank or card statement to identify the company charging you.
- Contact the company shown on the statement and ask it to cancel the subscription.

If you have already been charged
Canceling stops a future renewal; it does not itself guarantee a refund for a charge that has already occurred. Apple says some App Store and iTunes Store purchases may be eligible for a refund. If Apple billed the charge, submit a request through Apple’s Subscriptions and Billing support hub so Apple can assess it. If another provider billed you, contact that provider about its refund process.
Regional differences
Apple notes that cancellation procedures vary slightly by country and region, and specifically identifies Germany, Israel, South Africa, and Türkiye as having special circumstances. The general support article does not detail those circumstances. If you are in one of those regions, follow the regional Apple instructions for your country rather than assuming every step or label will match the general route.
